In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. Maybe he will get a chance to mention the 8 American soldiers and 1 American contractor shot execution style by an Afghan pilot in Kabul on Wednesday. Maybe he will get a chance to mention the massive storms and tornadoes that have taken at least 25 lives in Alabama on Wednesday. Maybe he will discuss Bernanke’s news conference on Wednesday. Is Bernanke telling the truth? Is your buddy tax cheat Timmy responsible for the fall of the dollar?

Nope. Nope. Nope. No time for any silliness. He’s got more important things to do, like meeting with some “influential Hispanics” in the Roosevelt Room to flesh out his get-out-the-vote campaign for illegal aliens.

  2. Did you know the last president of Panama had Elvis’ old jet as the presidential airplane. The airplane was getting old. President Martinelli refused to use it. He said it was an accident waiting to happen. I do not know if Panama was able to sell it or if they still have it.

In November 2008 I saw a country elect an accident waiting to happen. It is being seen today in slow motion. Tis painful to watch.

  3. Do you think that Obama will be reviewing the tornado damage down South? Or is he going to be slow on the gun like the Horizon Oil Spill?
