In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Obama Schedule || Tuesday, April 26, 2011

President Obama continues to wage his reelection campaign from the White House Map Room, conducting another series of interviews with local TV reporters from presidential battleground states.

Recently he made the mistake of covering his tracks by doing an interview with a reporter from Texas – a state he can’t win – who asked him some uncomfortable questions.

11:25 am || Interviewed by WSB Atlanta, WKYC Cleveland, WTKR Hampton Roads, Virginia, and WXYZ Detroit; Map Room
1:40 pm || Holds meetings with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates
4:30 pm || Meets with Secretary of Defense Gates

Live Stream of Carney briefing at 1:00 pm

All times Eastern

  1. This immediate campaign is too much, too soon.
    He won’t win back his supporters with the “hate the rich and the Repubs won’t do what I want them to do” theme because his former supporters know that he’s one of the “rich” and that the Dems are still in charge of Washinton.

    Of course, we’re all awaiting that off-the-cuff foot-in-the-mouth remark that’s sure to happen tomorrow.

    1. Very interesting. Trump starts discussing Obamas schoolrecords too. Will journalists finally wake up ? Will people from Obamas past step forward and start talking ? I also wonder when the Obamamachine will start trying to inflict damage on Trump and his empire.

        1. Thank you, great article. The excellent thing about Trump is that he is talking about the elephant in the room. Whether he is a good candidate or not is another discussion.

          1. Trump is not a good candidate. His whole campaign is going after Obama. He is not giving any ideas about jobs creation, reducing the debt, how to cut spending, fixing SS or Medicare. Is his campaign any different than Obama’s campaign of bashing Bush?

          2. I see Trump as far enough ahead of crunch time that he can zing away, then someone else can step in and finish off the Dems. I hope anyhow…

  2. There is a Buh-Rock melt down in our near future. Oh sure…he can try to be ‘cutesy’ about the phones in the White House; and he can even admonish the TX reporter ‘let me answer the questions next time…’ but someone, in the ‘he is sooooo cool’ will try to Chairman O to ‘speak out’ on The Donald. I predict that won’t be pretty, and the meltdown will be stunning. Remember before any real BC pressure was on the issue–and BHO said ‘I can’t walk around with my Birth Certificate on my forehead…’

    My guess…the ‘familiarity’ of the interviewer from Detroit will garner a nugget or fifteen…and Trump will be ready to pounce. And for the record, I don’t think DT is really running…but he is doing all of the heavy lifting right now.

  3. I don’t know why they are starting this repetitive BS campaign thing so far ahead–to get donations? We are so bored with him already–incl some Dems.
