In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Obama Heads Out For Some Sports

This is the Washington, DC forecast for Sunday afternoon.

Plentiful sunshine. High 64F. Winds WSW at 15 to 25 mph.

And this is the forecast for President Obama this afternoon:

Golf

He’s got the usual crew in tow, including Energy Department staffer David Katz and White House trip director Marvin Nicholson. Marvin’s brother Walter also got an invite.

This is Obama’s 64th time out on the links as president. The 2011 season is off to blistering pace. It’s his third time out in the last three weeks and his sixth time out this year – and it’s not even May.

  1. Oh, this man is SOOOO full of compassion for what’s going on all over the world, from the Middle East to the Southeast (United States). He has not ONE OUNCE of caring for us commoners out here….. Please, God, can you send 2012 around any sooner? If he wins another term, WE’RE TOAST!!!!!

  2. Wow, Obama golfed 64 times in 27 months?! That’s more than twice month? What a disgrace!

This is all you idiots have after Bush Jr. vacationed more than any other president in history.

  5. Just wondering here, since there was such enormous criticism by the MSM on anything related to GW Bush —

Has there been even one MSM news story slightly hinting that the Obama-one plays a bit too much golf and takes too many vacations? Even one?

  10. If I have this straight in my mind, without considering travel to and from the courses where he has played, his government employee golfing buddies and the compromiser in chief have consumed about 768 taxpayer paid hours (from 64 rounds) in 830 days in office. I truly see how he is really devoted to fixing this nations problems. If he plays like I do, he’s got to have a lot of balls!
