  2. Now there’s a quick tet-a-tet:

Grey: “Mr. President, I’ve talked with Del. Norton and I wanted to get your thoughts on the possibility of Congress passing the District voting rights bill during the lame-duck.”

    Obama: “HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA…(choking sounds) (takes a swig of water).

Grey: “Um, ok, what about next year?”

    Obama: “Bwahhh HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, HA-HA, ouch!” (reaching for his lower-jaw)

Grey: “Are you alright, Mr. President?”

Obama: Mr. Mayor, your so funny you made my stitches fall out.”

      1. No dice, Keith. Obama being fully aware of the irony would say DC will have to wait because fixing potholes does not constitute a shovel-ready project.
