President Obama, as predicted by yours truly, went golfing this afternoon. It’s the 52nd time he has hit the links since becoming president, according to White House chronicler and famed Twitterer Mark Knoller of CBS.
Obama has now been golfing once for every state in the union, plus the District of Columbia and Guam.
Obama has now been in office 92 weeks. So he goes golfing a bit more often than every other week. Including the winter.
According to today’s pool report by TPM’s Christina Bellantoni, who by the way also offers up great tweets @cbellantoni, Obama was with a familiar crew of young golfing buddies, White House Trip director Marvin Nicholson, Press aide Ben Finkenbinder, and Department of Energy’s David Katz.

Las Vegas should start taking odds on his golf playing. I would have won big today.
Janice – I’ll bet you can find some action on it. Maybe in London.
What better way to spend his day off than walking around in the fresh air, hitting and chasing the little white ball.
Everybody deserves a day off. Enjoy, MrPrez.
I made an illustration for your golf posts:

Thanks Janice! My only concern is that the White House will try to use it for West Wing Week.
I was thinking Photo of the Day.
I thought there were 57 states — tee hee!
