As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Obama to Liberals: You Suck; Liberals to Obama: No, YOU Suck

Obama has a message for his colleagues in the progressive movement, and it’s simple: You suck, and stop sucking.

The message came at the end of an interview with Rolling Stone in which Obama spent a sizable chunk of time trying to convince liberals that three quarters of a loaf is better than none.

You promised Hope and Change!

And he’s right. But he promised a full loaf. And that’s what they want.

As Obama has said, with health reform, financial reform, the auto takeover, and hundred of billions in spending on infrastructure, he has managed to enact the most liberal agenda since Roosevelt in just 18 months.

He hasn’t gotten to Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell yet, nor immigration reform or cap and trade. But that’s because we don’t live in a dictatorship. These things do take time in a democracy. Sure, vast restructuring of societies – the complete fulfillment of hope and the wholesale establishment of change – does occur. Only, you have to kill the Kulaks to do it.

Here’s what Obama said, “stabbing the air with his finger,” according to the interviewer, Rolling Stone lefty editor Jann Wenner.

It is inexcusable for any Democrat or progressive right now to stand on the sidelines in this midterm election. There may be complaints about us not having gotten certain things done, not fast enough, making certain legislative compromises.

The idea that we’ve got a lack of enthusiasm in the Democratic base, that people are sitting on their hands complaining, is just irresponsible.

We have to get folks off the sidelines. People need to shake off this lethargy, people need to buck up. Bringing about change is hard — that’s what I said during the campaign. It has been hard, and we’ve got some lumps to show for it. But if people now want to take their ball and go home, that tells me folks weren’t serious in the first place.

If you’re serious, now’s exactly the time that people have to step up.

Well, see he’s right.

But Obama fails to notice where he shares in the blame for this. He didn’t promise a legislative slog. He promised transcendent change.

You never loved me

Hillary could have given them a legislative slog. He suggested that somehow he was the Pied Piper who could entrance Republicans into abandoning their philosophy, make everyone get along, and establish a progressive paradise on earth.

And liberals believed him. Because many liberals are so convinced of the truth and sanctity of their beliefs, that they can hardly imagine anyone disagrees. And so the Obama vision seemed possible if only a few Republicans from Maine or whatever other reasonble state would just come to their senses.

But alas, it’s still a two party system, even if you’re certain you know what’s best for everyone. Obama’s scorned lover approach – “maybe you were never serious about us in the first place!!” – is an infantile failure to recognize that he led everyone on. He promised diamonds, but gave only gold.

  1. Obama’s comments in Rolling Stone could not have come at a worse time. All that is needed is another 6 months of Obamanomics, more stupid remarks, more gaff’s, more insults against Americans, more Michelle malfunctions, more dog-and-pony-show and Hillary’s your Uncle.

I don’t blame the left for being upset with The Messiah; he promised every living human being a Cadillac Escalade, free healthcare, a free house, free internet, free college and is even re-building Islamic Mosques in the (not-so-free) Middle East, courtesy of the American taxpayer. Screw having to pay the bill, we can always print more money.

I’ve been pissed off at this Marxist ‘tard since he came on the scene in ’08. Welcome aboard lib’s.
