BO was the candidate of modern PR, packaged as post-racial, committed, caring, and promising a change from the old smoke-filled backroom politics, while his true colors and background were hidden, guarded from view by an enthusiastic left-leaning press. Americans were appalled and stunned when the curtain fell down and the personal mask fell off of BO. Billions to WallStreet, nothing to investers. Billions to Mortgage lenders, nothing to mortgage payers. Then, unemployment, HealthCare, notched up wars and the public said enough and no one listened. Result: disconnected electorate.
