Hillary Rejected Campaign Chief’s Decision to Fire Alleged Sexual Harasser

When a young female staffer on Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign incurred repeatedly sexual harassment by senior advisor Burns Strider, she complained. Patti Solis Doyle, Clinton’s 2008 campaign manager, Monday told CNN she investigated the case and determined that there was, indeed, sexual harassment.

Strider, Solis Doyle told Hillary, should be fired. “I was overruled,” she said.

Hillary Clinton’s record on sexual harassment is a pathetic one. She abetted her husband Bill’s serial sexual harassment career, including an alleged rape. But of course, the #MeToo movement cares so little about this that Hillary was invited to appear on Sunday night’s Grammys, where #MeToo was an issue and many dressed in black.

Being a world-class dissimulator, Clinton sought to tweet the episode away.

“A story appeared today about something that happened in 2008. I was dismayed when it occurred, but was heartened the young woman came forward, was heard, and had her concerns taken seriously and addressed,” she tweeted. “I called her today to tell her how proud I am of her and to make sure she knows what all women should: we deserve to be heard.”

“I was disappointed by that tweet, that response,” Solis Doyle said. “It was the wrong call,” she said of the failure to fire Strider. “I wish she had said it was the wrong call.”

Here, ironically enough, is the tweet Hillary has permanently “pinned” to the top of her feed.

Just for fun, look at where CNN was playing the story this afternoon. If you don’t see it right away, keep scrolling down.
