House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi put a member of her caucus to sleep today on the House floor reading what we White House reporrers used to call “sob stories” – actual examples of people affected by a policy – involving Dreamers.
Rep. Doris Matsui of California was either stupified into unconsciousness by Pelosi’s remarks or was seeking to make a dramatic point about dreaming. You decide.
She passes out of a state of wakefulness at 0:04 – 0:19 and then again at 1:35 – 2:15
Poor Nancy Pelosi. With the Democratic party now all about identity politics, she had to figure out which identity – African Americans or woman – she could least avoid to anger. Finally, after some graphic details came out about what Conyers did, Pelosi decided it was safe enough to side with the women.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi today refused an invitation to meet with the president of the United States at the White House, a slight I have not witnessed in 20 years working at the White House and one that borders, given their positions in government, on the unpatriotic. Nice to see the Left getting a taste of the Left. From the Associated Press: U.S. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has been shouted down at a San Francisco event by young immigrants protesting her conversations with President Donald Trump on immigration policy. I think that it would be a very, very sad for Republicans if she steps down,” Trump told… Continue Reading
That’s fine. Based on their actions since the election, the Democrats clearly don’t know who was duly elected president. During the same remarks, she questions Trump’s “fitness for office.” Not the first time it’s happened. Continue Reading
See, I may disagree with Democratic leaders, but they’re smart, and one thing they get is politics. And they understand that impeaching President Trump is a bad idea for them. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was asked a couple of weeks ago on CNN about impeachment: I don’t subscribe to that. If you’re talking about… Continue Reading
I knew there would have been a silver lining somewhere. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi revealed Friday that she was ready to retire from Congress if former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had won the November election over President Trump, the Washington Examiner reported. Pelosi told reporters following a discussion at a breakfast hosted by… Continue Reading
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi actually suggested reporters were the “accomplices” of the Russians in undermining the election by reporting on the hacked DNC emails. Hardly a peep our of the press. Now, imagine if someone else we know did this . . . “Pelosi said this weekend that journalists were wrong to report on the… Continue Reading
