From the Washington Examiner:
President Trump’s campaign committee announced Tuesday it has rehired former national spokeswoman Katrina Pierson to serve as a senior adviser of grassroots outreach.
Pierson was Trump’s first formal spokesperson after he launched his campaign in June 2015. She stayed on staff through the campaign, but later jumped to America First Policies.
On Monday, Trump’s personal assistant John McEntee was fired due to a problem with his background check. McEntee was also named on Tuesday to Trump’s campaign, which he previously served on during the 2016 election.
Pierson was famous during the first Trump campaign for getting into with the press. She didn’t always have her facts straight, but, you know, for the most part.
