Democrats Get Part of Their Agenda Done

How did that happen? When do we ever hear of Republicans getting their agenda done when Democrats are running things?

The budget deal that President Trump signed this morning included several big items off the Democrats’ 2017 wish list, according to the Washington Post:

In negotiations, Democrats checked off several items in the Better Deal, a compendium of policies backed by Democrats in the past and brainstormed in meetings last spring and summer. The new items include $5.8 billion for the Child Care Development Block Grant program; $20 billion in infrastructure spending, including rural broadband funds, with no corresponding cuts; and a special joint committee on fulfilling pension obligations, with the results to be voted on by the end of the year.

Just imagine what they’ll get done if they take over. Wasn’t so long ago. Taken a look at your insurance premiums recently?

  1. This is an election year. Either party can claim to be looking out for the children, the roads and bridges, etc.
Let’s see how it plays out with DACA and the Wall.

We’ve been burned on that in the past, remember?
There needs to be more republicans in the senate.
McConnell needs to go, with a fiscal conservative to take his place.(Rand Paul?)

Go back to the 51 vote majority, as it was originally designed by the founding fathers.

Remember this in 2018, don’t listen to them when they tell you that they are for smaller government.
    It’s a ruse to get re-elected.

Remind them that they lied before, and that that was the last time.

Term limit by the ballot box.
    It’s about time.
