Senator: White House Economic Advisor Gary Cohn Hung Up On Trump

National Economic Council Advisor Gary Cohn faked a bad connection and hung up on President Trump, according to Democratic Sen. Tom Carper of Delaware.

Cohn and other White House advisors were trying to sell the tax reform proposal to some Democrats when Trump called in from Asia. After about 15 minutes of listening to the president, Carper says he suggested to Cohn to tell Trump, “Mr. President, you’re brilliant, but we’re losing contact, and I think we’re going to lose you now, so goodbye.”

And that’s what he did.

  1. Oh, so a Dem Senator calls that a “hang up”? Wow.
There it is, move evidence that MrTrump is senile, a danger to the Republic, should be impeached and run out of DC all the way down to Florida and Hillary be declared the real winner. Yessiree, proof.

Oh geez, why even publicize something like that?

  2. I wonder how quickly Senator Tom Carper, who claims to be the instigator (whether or not this really happened, which I would question), will be able to get his own calls through to anyone in the White House in future?

Of course, our President Trump is not a vindictive man, but a gracious one, who graciously allows people all the rope they want to take. So it may be only certain other people – on both sides of the aisle – who will always be out when former-Senator Carper calls.
