  1. Pat Toomey was pretty good on Morning Joe today too. Joe kept pushing the “but what about the poor” shtick on Medicaid and Toomey was having non of it. He pushed back off top of head and with facts that could not be disputed. The more Joe pushed the dumber he looked. (And Joe’s looking pretty dumb these days! lol)

    • Agree. Why bother with these anti-Trump fanatics who wouldn’t find a good thing to say about him, no matter what. Cnn/Msnbc and all the rest have chosen their positions and nothing will change their minds until MrTrump retires to Mar-a-Lago.

      • At which point, Trump will immediately be reevaluated as an enlightened elder statesman, while whatever conservative follows him will be summarily godwinized.

Either American politics are getting drearily predictable, or I’m getting cynical in my old age. ^_^

  2. Thanks for the kellyAnne / Chris interaction. CNN is locked in a no win argument. KellyAnne should have said– I am having lunch at the Russian Tea Room (in NYC). There may be Russian speakers around: Do you want to investigate that too! That is how silly things have become. Faux McCarthyism.

    • They already have “vanished” for all intents and purposes. They have no impact or influence, as we noted after Trump won the election, even after a year long 24/7 attack on him by CNN and the rest of cable news. A very small percentage of Americans watch these TV cable news shows–3-5 percent, or much less in the case of MSNBC, typically. If you subtract the number of televisions tunes into these cable news stations in airports, barbershops, doctors offices and such from the total, it’s a very, very small number of viewers. An article I read recently cited that “Lassie” reruns had a larger TV audience than CNN news shows. I dunno if that’s the actual case, but it could well be so. If I were an advertiser, I would start looking for another venue to promote my product.
