    • “To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public” – Theodore Roosevelt

    • Grace, it was a good speech for the purpose but it was not the campaign-Trump who spoke. Like Ron Paul says, it is still the neocons who write the script.

Rouhani won a landslide victory in Iran this weekend. Iran has elections, Saudi not so. He wants to open up to the west, he wants more diplomacy, he is a far cry from the Saudi kings. But Iran is still enemy number one. Why ?

      • For his first trip i thought it was respectful, appropriate and drew some lines. Not disappointed.

Rand Paul is a good critic, now I would like to see some action from him. Sponsor legislation, gather some colleagues and so forth. Rand Paul needs to put up.

  1. Listening to the two national leaders praise each other, we’re reminded that MrTrump has forged friendships with people all over the globe.
It might be hard now to sustain the personal friendship when national interests come first in their discussions.

  2. I am glad that he said Iran should thank the US, for the deal they were given, which was a terrible deal from our side and Iran would not get nuclear weapons. The basics. Given the circumstances and isolating Iran as the problem was smart I think.
