As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Intel Panel Chair: Trump May Have Been Among Those “Unmasked”

This at least possibly could evolve into a Watergate-style scandal for the Obama administration. Who allowed the unmasking? Did the Obama White House have anything to do with it? Was the White House involved in seeking the surveillance, and was the intent not just to eavesdrop on Russians, but even more so, to listen in on the people the Russians were talking to – Trump and his aides? Since listening in on the Americans would have been illegal, wiretapping the Russians would have been a back door way to get to Trump.

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes said Wednesday he had briefed President Trump on new information, unrelated to an investigation into Russian activities, that suggested several members of his transition team — and possibly the president himself — had their identities “unmasked” after their communications were swept up through incidental collection, the Washington Examiner reported.

“What I have read bothers me and I think it should bother the president himself and his team, because I think some of it seems to be inappropriate,” Nunes told reporters at the White House following his meeting with Trump.

  1. The Dems and the MSM will never allow Obama to be touched.
Adam Schiff is already out there intimating that Trump is in collusion with the Russians and this latest evidence proves it.
Someone said tonight on Fox that we are “becoming” a Banana Republic. Heck, we’ve been a BR since Nov 2008.

  2. Considering what those who have watched, listened, researched, and remembered about the past administration, is any of this a surprise? A large majority of information that was available on the net about our last POTUS, including videos, has conveniently disappeared. His appointees are doing as much damage as possible.
Considering the carefully worded answers Comey gave, can he be believed about anything, including his loyalty to the US Constitution and his oath of office? He appears to be of the mindset he is a power unto himself, subject only to himself and no one else. Unfortunately, he is joined by many with opposing views to this administration.

  3. Barack Obama could have been in the next room wiretapping Trump et al like in the old movies and no one will touch him. Nothing will happen.

Especially if Comey, who some call “the most powerful man in WDC”, is involved. Comey should not be talking the way he is. “The FBI has opened an investigation” should suffice.

But Nunes has done an excellent job pursuing this. 2 cents

  4. One thing I have observed about Obama is that he follows the laws only when the serve his interest. When they do not, he ignore them or finds a way to manipulate what is allowed. It would not surprise me that “incidental sweeping” on topics in which Trump et al would have an interest brought up, legally, what Obama admin was curious to know.

RELATED QUESTION: Did the Obama admin do this to the OTHER candidates for the Republican nomination? I bet they did.

FINAL QUESTION: Why did they bother if they were so sure that Hillary would win?
