  1. Oh, I think laying a wreath in Hiroshima is a good thing, something we all could do. We all need to remember how absolutely fearful nuclear weapons are, how horribly civilians suffer in wars. We all need to think, never again.
Do you remember when Reagan tried a gesture of reconciliation in Germany by laying a wreath in a German cemetery in Bitburg ? There were a lot of intense protests in the US but Reagan did not waver. He told his staff: “I know you and Nancy do not want me to go through with this but I don´t want to change anything because history will prove I´m right. If we cannot reconcile after 40 years, we are never going to be able to do it.” And in a speech he added : ” Some old wounds have been reopened and this I regret very much, because this should be a time of healing “. There – a politician with a conviction.

  2. WHD’ers,

You REALLY need to look at his remarks from the ceremony.

Apparently, the man who conned us into letting the mullahs get the bomb is now extolling the virtues of a world without nukes. YCMTSU.

Hey, Congress? You mind dusting off the 25th Amendment? Our president appears to be having a psychotic break…

    • You’re absolutely on point. Obama, the phony utopian, SAYS he wants to rid the world of nuclear weapons while he simultaneously SPONSORS a nuclear threat by giving the Iranians $150 billion which they have already said they will use to create and deliver nuclear weapons to the neighborhoods of Jerusalem.

This is why Obama is the laughing stock of the world.

  3. Since it is Memorial Day Weekend, I am offering another pitch for a weird little channel I get called Viceland. If you have it on your TV system, there is always something “out there,” well produced and interesting to watch. It’s not for the faint of heart, though. They run a series called Weediquette, among other good regular series. In one I watched last nite, the host Krishna, who is a very personable young reporter and a good interviewer (gives 60 Mins a run for their money), delved into why the VA won’t prescribe medical marijuana for PTSD sufferers, even in states where it’s legal, and even makes vets sign a contract saying they will take only the prescribed drugs or lose their benefits. The vets who have defied this and gotten great relief of their “crazy” symptoms say it’s the big drugs prescribed (as many as 20 at a time) that is making some vets suicidal…Anyhow it was a great segment. The VA insists it needs more research, but then stymies the researchers–they talked about that, too. To get a taste of the show, you can view a segment at https://www.viceland.com/en_us/video/the-war-on-weed/56cdd1948af2fa0f2200ba52

It’s not the Vet one, but it gives you an idea.

  4. And don’t forget, there were 12 POW’S whose names from jail records and died near ground zero that were released. There was a G-7 conference this weekend also. Can’t be everywhere at once, unless you listen to Ann Coulter. I’m sure she could do all of this. NOT
