    • Yep.

Listened to Harry Reid just now, his speech OBVIOUSLY written by Obama’s writers, calling the nominee every glowing word there is in Mirriam Webster and calling the R’s every horrible word. I’d bet my last dollar Reid has (a) never met Judge Garland and (b) doesn’t know one thing he’s voted for or against.

I’ll be interested to read about Garland to find out just what Obama saw in him to make him the nominee. And excuse me, but wasn’t this a very quick choice by Obama> I bet he takes longer to decide which club to use to get himself out of the rough than it did to take him to choose a Supreme Court Justice!

  1. See this is exactly why the country is toast.

MajicKneegrow knows that this will cause a big fight, and thats what he wants.

So here we go, the Muslim racist is controlling the discourse. Super Tuesday is over so he takes control today,

Banana Republic on TV. He always gets what he wants from his butt buddies the GOP.
    Gutless wonders that they are.

  2. It’s odd that Obama didn’t nominate someone who would motivate DEM voters in November, i.e. an ethnic minority or someone from the gay community. Except for the gun-control aspect, a boring 63 y.o. white guy is not going to excite many DEM voters.

    • I think he tried to get someone uncontroversial or close to it so he could further jab at the Reps. From a conservative viewpt, this guy even if moderate would pull everything left (which might be a Dem talking pt in the Fall). And maybe more will be appted soon-the Court is a major issue…

  3. The Republicans should either loop Biden’s statement on SCOTUS appointment during a campaign —

….“Instead, it would be our pragmatic conclusion that once the political season is underway, and it is, action on a Supreme Court nomination must be put off until after the election campaign is over,” Biden said. “That is what is fair to the nominee and essential to the process. Otherwise, it seems to me we will be in deep trouble as an institution.”

Or begin every answer or comment on Garland with “As Joe Biden said ……”

Or just simply say No there will be no consideration of a nomination until the election is over. Done. Over.

    • Aw…actually from what I read about him, he’s a decent guy–I wonder why he agreed to jump into this mess. I also wonder about his prosecuting Okla City–a chance to bring up domestic so-called Christian terrorists once again? And the gun stand is problemmatical. If the Senate hangs tough, all this will be chewed on in the media for months and months.
