  1. What remarks will he make about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act? That it’s been a dismal failure? Or that he single handedly saved the economy?

  2. It finally dawned on me that when the WH schedule includes “deliver remarks”, Obama actually believes that means getting on airplane, traveling to some location, and physically carrying his remarks, like a hot pizza in a box, to some group, and then returning to Washington. He’s delivering his remarks. That’s why he’s out of the White House so much.

OK, it’s still early in the day.

  3. Well, what’s this about?

    http://energy.gov/articles/saft-america-advanced-batteries-plant-celebrates-grand-opening-jacksonville

“This project is part of the Recovery Act’s $2 billion investments in battery and electric drive component manufacturing, supporting 20 battery and 10 component manufacturing factories. At full scale, these investments will support factories with the capacity to supply more than 500,000 electric drive vehicles. These factories are helping build a domestic electric-drive vehicle industry – the U.S. produced less than 2 percent of the world’s batteries in 2008. By the end of 2012, it is estimated that the U.S. will have the capacity to produce 20 percent of the world’s advanced vehicle batteries.

These factories are also lowering costs. By 2013, these factories will help cut battery costs in half, making electric-drive vehicles much more affordable for Americans. Additional DOE investments in R&D will continue this type of innovation well beyond 2015, providing a long-term path for a competitive industry.”

    • A couple of years ago, I read a tech article that claimed that after a certain level of ownership of battery driven cars–something like 10 million or so of these cars, can’t remember the exact number, maybe it’s more, the national power grid would collapse. But, but, but these batteries have to be recharged by plugging them into electrical power sources. Fossil-fueled power generator plants, anyone? Whoopsie. Obama is shutting them down. What to do? What to do? We’re doomed! This is what happens when idiots become kings.

  4. Florida huh? Couldn’t scoop up some money bags from a fundraiser or hit the links while there?

I betcha this is all part of his Gorebal Warming Foundation plan, to become a billionaire like Al. He’s advertising himself like he cares about the planet.
