On SCOTUS, Pres Obama “spent quite a bit of time” this weekend going through huge binder of material on possible nominee.

    • My prediction: Obama will nominate a completely unqualified minority person, gay person or female, or a combination of all. He may well try for the whole trifecta–a unqualified Black/Hispanic, gay female. When the Senate refuses to conduct a hearing, Obama will get miles and miles of publicity. “Look how awful those Republicans are!”, “See how much they hate Blacks/Hispanics/Women/Gay People”, “This is not who we are as Americans”. There will be absolutely no MSM reporting of why the person is unqualified ,or any other kind of credible, deep research about the nominee. They’ll run stories with headlines like: “Repulsive Republicans Once Again Reject A Gay Woman of Color/ ”

      We know the drill.

    • Very interesting article. Thanks for the link. I would vote for Cruz/Rubio but don’t trust Rubio on immigration and amnesty. I also wouldn’t want to leave my kitchen to vote for Kasich (can’t believe he said that!) and I’m on the fence about Trump. In the end I will vote for the Republican candidate whether I like them or not. I’m not giving my vote to Hillary. She shouldn’t even be in the race, she should be in prison.

      • I think I would agree Cruz/Rubio because of the appeal of each to voter segments and the “tea party”, “establishment” accommodation. That said, I don’t trust Rubio at all and he would have to be on a very short leash. From what I have seen from Cruz, he doesn’t suffer fools so that would be possible.

      • Tough one for me–with Cruz at the top, I may be washing my hair…He is such a slithey tove…yicko. But I guess some of you guys would like him…he said on O’Reilly he would go to people’s houses and yank out illegals, send them away, and unlike Trump, would not let them come back ever.
