As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

  1. I’m showing my age but I definitely am not too old to not still remember my school days when the “p _ _ _ _ _” word didn’t reach national crisis level. A synonym for wuss, wimp, etc.
With the world aflame, China and Russia on the march and the establishment of BOTH parties still hellbent on destructive trade deals and stealing even more trillions from our kids futures, that the lede of the morning was that Trump should have forcefully denounced the lady in the crowd for using the “P” word is proof positive to me that the grandchildren of the greatest generation grew up to be nothing but “p _ _ _ _ _ _ s” (IMHO of course).
The cancer of political correctness and sensitivity to every snowflake on the planet is far more dangerous to this country than coarse language.

    • Thats why I love Trump — he is a true genius in his way. He is his own man and doesn’t hide the TRUTH like all the other phony politicians! Trump is our only hope, God must have heard our fears about Obama, the communist party and the Republican party taking over our country and that these retards like Obama, Clinton, Kerry, McConnell, etc., etc. were not doing what the people wanted and that they promised to do and out of the blue along comes Trump with a brain and a voice. I know the Republicans are working to bring him down out of greed and jealousy and I hope they are not successful and that God steps in once again regarding Trump. Yeah Trump, vote Trump, the one and only truthful voice. And I pray that he is kept safe from the enemies in Washington. Go Trump, even if you do not win, you fixed them all from this time forward.

  2. Frankly, I am so tired of these boorish Trump attacks. He looks so un-presidential. Some of us are getting an education, though – I always thought the ‘P’ word meant sissy or wimp. Live and learn!

      • I understand, Geoff. Trump is a virtual gold-mine for all of the networks and cable channels. I’m repeating myself, but six months ago the head honcho at CNN issued an edict that he wanted nothing but Trump, Trump, Trump. And so it is.

  3. While I do not avoid cussing at times,it is unfortunate that Donald Trump cannot express himself publicly without using foul language.
Barack Obama and Bill Clinton have both disgraced the office of POTUS with their inflammatory speech and disgusting behavior.
Do we really need more of the same?

    • I understand the frustration but Trump would be anything BUT “more of the same”. I too wish he’d tone the childish down but at the same time I look at $19 trillion and counting in debt, the establishment of BOTH parties that can’t wait to get past November 2016 so they can pass TPP in lameduck, the enabling of Iran with the most dangerous deal since Chamberlain, the administrative industrial complex subverting the Constitution, and on and on. If a little foul talk and bombastity is what it takes to blow it up and at least try to set us back on an even keel, well…so be it.

      • I think you are wrongly assuming he can blow things up–it’s one thing to playfully tweak the press and act like a fifth grader, but another for someone with a grade-school level of a understanding of issues or even of who understands the issues to govern effectively…In my opinion, despite frail hopes of widespread change, it would be a swipe at bullying or cajoling Congress, then straight to the CEO-like EOs…Repeal Obama’s maybe, but issue his own.

        • See the point. But after what’s been done for the past 7 years, it may just take hard EO’s (especially in repealing O’s) to get us back on track.
America’s at a crossroads. 2016 determines whether we keep on course into the iceberg or at least try to steer us back to home port.

          • On MoJoe, they had a gal who could not decide between Hillary, Bernie or Kasich…Dunno what is going on there–maybe party labels are not what they once were…Kasich is no liberal…

          • Star, Kasich is not a conservative.
He is a moderate at best.
He is to the left of center on the political scale.
Yes, he did take Ohio out of debt.
No big deal as the prior governor, Strickland, damn near ruined us.

        • Oh Please! Fifth grade school level? I just cannot believe the rhetoric I am hearing from a few words? Grow up and smell the coffee. Fifth grade level is only the one and only Obama who takes his orders from the U.N. and who knows who else. Please don’t read the Daily News and other viscious outlets about Trump, they are so jealous of him and so worried about the poor little Muslims that want to kill us along with Hillary Clinton and crazy Bernie Sanders. Why don’t you worry about them taking over country, instead of trying to get Trump fired! If he loses and that happens we are in deep do do, is that word too politically incorrect for you? Sorry, but you really teed me off tonight when I read yours and others about how you little ears can’t take much more of Trump, who at least loves our country and wants to save it, unlike the others in the both parties who only care about their perks and greedy love of money and power.

      • Here’s the thing for me. I do not believe for one tiny second that Donald Trump would not get his “wheeler dealer on” and make the best deals for whomever genuflects to him the best. Especially his business buddies.
And, because he is not a stupid man, and will likely take the long view, he will back whatever deals will benefit his empire the most once he leaves office.
If he does win, I do not see him being good for more than one term anyway.
Do you not see Ted Cruz for example, being able to be more effective as POTUS?
Yes, The Donald has set everyone’s pants ablaze and that is good. But long term? I do not trust him.

        • Understand the trust issue but after the last 15 years I’d rather roll the dice with Trump than anyone else. Cruz I could handle but he’s unelectable given the current status of the American electorate and media makeup.
Even if he’s making deals to help “his” empire, I’ll take Trump’s empire over Obama’s “transformation” any day.

          • I respect you, Geoff, but can’t we shoot for something more than a blind dice roll on someone who is a least better than someone else. I don’t think this has to be such a noseholder…but it’s a democracy/republic and the voters will make the call. Anger and sass flash and trash or someone who has worked as a public servant and at least knows the meaning of that term.

        • I trust him to do what is right for him–as you said…He isn’t even putting in time now to kind of learn the govt, learn the issues, learn the inner hearts of Americans (besides the famous anger). He just showboats around…and the press pours gas on it…

        • No, I don’t see Ted Cruz as being better for the country. He is bought and sold like all the other professional politicians. He, like all politics-oriented elitist liars, is fired.

  4. Pussy! Kitty! Wimp! Sissy! all mean the same.
This new outrage of the MSM is the lamest of all, well maybe not ALL.

I agree, “pussy” is an insult of some sort, but it is far, far from an obscenity.

    • The c-word. That is an obscenity.
And Trump again played into the media’s demand and reprimanded her. That the msm is so taken with Trump shows their fear of his popularity.
It’s better than their BLM …etc narratives, they don’t report news anymore anyway.

    • Note that none of them have served in the military.
Trump’s father sent him to a military school because he tended to be undisciplined.

I got off the bus at Lackland at 18 and was met with the foulist language I had ever heard by the DI.

      “pussy” is NOTHING.

        • The word means many different things determined on the context.
          Pussy Willows
          Pussy Cat.
          Wimpy Boys.

This is the result of PC correctness gone wild.

          How about some other words.
Harpy could refer to an Eagle or a nasty woman.
Bitch is a female dog or a nasty woman.

Oh my, my, let’s just not use those words for we may be taken out of context.

No, no, you can’t say that !

        • Early on in our marriage my wife told me that she didn’t like that word when applied to her private parts.
I asked her what did she prefer.
          She said crotch.

Soon after, we were in a store that had a display of pussy willows.
I said to her, look, crotch willows.
          She laughed.

          See,….I was PC. :)

      • LOL. I know exactly what you mean. I could curse up a mean streak in those early days as well, but my DI was the world champion of foul, insulting and abusive language. I realized I was a mere amateur in that art form. Sgt. Parker. Ah yes, he was quite a guy. I’m not sure they still allow that sort of language anymore in Basic. PC and all that.

        • I doubt whether they do Marcus.
They were definitely in your face as soon as you set foot on the base.
It didn’t matter where you came from, everybody was busted down and then they made a troop out of you.

Before going overseas, I had leave and saw some friends I had grown up with.
          They were like children.

          • Immediately after we got off the bus that took us to Lackland, they put us all in our first formation–tall ones in the back, short ones in the front, you know the drill. One of the DI’s went to the front of the formation and began yelling at us, “you WILL do this and you WILL NOT do that,” etc. We were still in our civvies. When he finished he asked if there any questions and one of the big tall guys in the back of the formation said, “We’ll what if I don’t feel like doing this and that. I’m from New York City and I do what I want to do.” So the DI, who was about 5’7″, skinny guy, called the NYC guy up front, made the guy stand right in front of him. Then the DI slapped the NYC guy right across the face, and said, “Now what are you going to do about that, Mr. NYC?” The big NYC guy took a swing at the DI. Big mistake. In about, oh, three seconds, the DI made a couple of judo/karate moves on the NYC guy and had him down on the ground, moaning in agony. With that, the DI asked the formation, “Any other questions, gentlemen?” There were no other questions. And off we went.

          • To Marcus.
I took basic in July and August.
Man it was hot, so hot that they raised a black flag for no PT today.
One day we were in formation marching somewhere and the DI yelled at us that we sounded like a rabbit pissing on cotton.

This was maybe 2-3 weeks in.
All at once the bootheels started to sound together and he said now that’s what I want to hear.

He looked over to a newer flight going past us and smiled at their DI.

          • Ah, memories.
SFC Phiedes Beers, Korea and Vietnam, CIB w/ Star.
A poet with “obscenities”, could weave a tale of what you did wrong, how he was going to correct it with his ” boot” applied to your ass without using one “nice” word.
He actually never hit anyone. Chewed cigars like people used snuff.
            1967, military different then.

          • To AFVet. Although younger, I saw many HS boys also come home men.
At one point (…maybe still) I thought all -ALL 15/16 yr olds would benefit greatly from a stint in boot camp. Especially now given all the tender p**** snowflakes the government schools are throwing out into society.

        • Back in DC, down on the corner, we had some guys who could have a whole conversation with variants of the MF word…verb, noun, adverb, adjective…on and on. Kind of amazing, really. Then I think–this became rap. Maybe I am wrong on that last part.

      • AFVet, that is what REALLY PISSES me off when these ‘Republican’ candidates say they want to “rebuild the US military”… they spout empty phrases about rebuilding the military.
How would they do it? -spend BILLIONS$ on that useless LCS warship for the US Navy as everything else in the Navy is wasting away (SSBN fleet, Carrier air-wings, Supply ships…?)
-spend Billions$ on that questionable F-35 for the USAF/USN-USMC and let our ICBMs, Bomber & Tanker wings rot away…?
-how to rebuild the Army & USMC for land combat operations in this century? and allow women into ALL combat roles? (how will that PC-feminism ruin the esprit-de-corps of all male combat units like Spec Ops?)

        • I think the sequester really cut into things and maybe did not curtail progs that should have been curtailed. Then they started cutting the so-called peacetime force. Is this peacetime. I know from my defense days that each weapon system has a advocate–lobbyists, if you will. Each is built in certain states, which gives those reps built-in special concerns about the system’s continuation. I remember a time when someone proposed no more aircraft carriers–said that was obsolete technology…they did not win out as we know. I know the Osprey was a bad system…there are several others which are star-crossed (no pun) billions of bucks in. Someone has to make the hard calls–someone knowledgeable.

          • The Osprey was a dog in its testing phase for a long time, for sure. Couldn’t get those dadgummed tiltrotors working right, synchronized properly, other safety issues, redesigns, and they lost a few. They finally got the darn thing straightened out, but it sure was expensive to do so.

        • Spook, I agree that women should not be on the front lines as far as ground troops.
They however have proven themselves as excellent pilots.
They are fully capable of flying fighters, transports, refuelers and any number of aircraft.

If they want to carry a 50 lb. pack on their back and trudge through the snow or the desert, so be it.

          Personally I think they’re crazy.

        • As a female I feel VERY few girls have the overall ability to join field combat. Some are strong and tough, but …
Men are so much stronger and better built for that type of service.
Monthly issues can be put on hold by contraception drugs. That’s not the issue, nor is the possibility of attraction. God made men stronger in this respect and most females lack the gene to favorably contribute to this type of stressful fighting endeavor.
          …feminists be damned.

    • I would vote for Jeb. He could do the job–I hope he might get the chance at it. We shall see…Prediction–and of course, I could be wrong–Rubio will be 2 or maybe 3…Sat nite notwithstanding. And you guys know I like Kasich.

      • The flow was fluffy, here at least. You could brush it away with a feather. Weather warmed up nicely, and it pretty much went away. Just heard another person say on a Portsmouth NH radio station–long lines of people waiting to get into the polling places, “never saw so many people turn out to vote”, etc. Of course, the only number that counts comes after 8 pm tonight, but yuuge crowds of voters seems to be what’s happening today. One “expert” thought that about 80 percent of Republicans would turn out today, and about 50 percent of Democrats would turn out for the vote. Again, we’ll see after 8 PM.

  5. Trump will not win the nomination. It will be a brokered convention with Bush or Kasich as the nominee. The establishment will choose either over Trump.

Trump can’t get more than 40% of the republican vote. Granted, I think he could take 30% of the Democrats but the Democrats don’t nominated the Republican Nominee.

Trump has no one to blame but himself with these type of comments. Trump, Clinton and Obama all have the same characteristic the the US Voter doesn’t want……Arrogance!

    • I do hope Trump wins the nomination. I can’t stand Jeb Bush and doubt with his last name, that he could ever get the nomination and I would never vote for him, talk about childish, he is so jealous of Trump, doesn’t hide it like a spoiled rich kid, just like a child that he is, and why is he running for President? Because his name is Bush? He is the arrogant one. Trump is angry about the state of our union and every day he shows it and I don’t blame him.! We have a communist/socialist running for President, Bernie Sanders, who sounds insane, making promises to let all the criminals out of jail, and promises everything will be free, just to win? He won’t possibly be able to deliver. Anyone who believes him or Hillary Clinton has a low I.Q. and that is what Sanders and Clinton are counting on,low I.Q.’s and dead people. Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton hate this country and they say it every day, let them get the hell out then, like Obama and Hitler himself.

  6. Was just talking to an adamant Dem friend, who now tells me she never liked Obama–oh, is that why we never talked about any of this for almost 8 yrs? Anyhow, she admitted Bush was a good governor (she lives in FL), but another Bush? I said that’s his name–you need more facts… She said she prob would support Hillary–I ventured to say well, I don’t even want to be her gendermate–all women are not shrewish liars…She said well, Colin Powell had his own server…I said that was totally different–she should look it up. But that is the info flying around….

  7. I guess I’m seriously confused when I am told voters no longer want “arrogance” like Obama, Clinton, Trump….correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the first two win two terms…..now being arrogant has suddenly fallen out of favor…..I’m fine with it…conservatives have a right to strut our stuff too don’t you know?
