As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

  1. Good morning. Warm winter day, butt rain on the way for tonight. El Niño needs to up his game here, too many years of drought in the old “Sun Sea” area.

  2. The big news this morning is the ‘drizzle’ we are experiencing in my zip code after only one day of rain in the last 12 months.
It has pretty much fizzled out, but it was exciting, lol.

In other news, there is a clip of Chris Matthews making the Sunday morning shows where he is ‘discussing’ the possibility of a Trump no-show at the debate.

“Who’s going to watch a debate between the two Cuban guys – Cruz and Rubio? Who cares?”

For the record, I have expressed the same sentiment…and have been called ‘racist’. I definitely am not ready for a hyphenated American potus, especially one (Rubio) who is practicing his Spanish language skills for his speech-giving.

That said, if Rush had made the same statement as Matthews, he would be off the air. Hypocrisy, thy name is Democrat!

    • Carrier landings, described by pilots as controlled crashes.
A Marine vet friend was an “airdale” aboard a carrier maintaining jets, and recalls going on deck to see launches and recoverys, and said he’d walk away thinking ” no damn way ” shaking his head.
But he took pride in maintaining his “bird” with his crew.
Every once and a while we get together and have a few cold drinks and tell “war stories”

        • Hank was serving during the middle to late 70’s and I can’t remember what was flying then, and he must of told me a thousand times.
I was visiting Corpus Christi Texas way back when. Nice sand but nasty water and jelly fish. Had to buy “wipes” because there was some tar in water and beach.
But the thrill of lifetime was visiting the USS Lexington. Various jets that she carried and a tour below deck.
At the bow was a civilian helicopter charter that would take you on an aerial tour of Corpus. Take of and landing on the Lexi.
That’s my only experience on a carrier, take off was pretty standard, I’d been on a UH-1 plenty of times so no biggie, BUT landing?
Like landing on a postage stamp it seemed.
I couldn’t then or now imagine coming in at a couple hundred knots and finding the the deck to land.
PS, napalm, you air-guys lol! Try a little willie-pete, more àrea specific.

  3. Here is something reported in the Monday, 01-Feb edition of Investor’s Business Daily that really needs to be exposed by national media.
    “Obama Seeks Worker-Pay Info –
Pres Obama previewed a new EEOC rule that will make companies with at least 100 workers disclose how much they pay workers based on gender, race, and ethnicity. The agency will use the information to determine whether disciplinary action is needed……” In other words, lawsuits against private companies based on some Washington pencil pusher reviewing payroll records for all businesses (over 100 emp) in this country. Is this nuts or what? Govt. gone wild? A light needs to be shined on this and people in Congress should be asked to respond as to what, if anything, they intend to do to put a halt to this.

  4. Microsoft..the official vote tallying app in Iowa….left leaning for sure…yes I can be subject to conspiricy theories but is there cause for concern here? Could we already be knee deep in voter fraud ? Currently my tinfoil hat is in the closet…for now
