  1. I voted for Christie twice. I wouldn’t do it again because we disagree on a lot. But gosh…when he debates, he reminds me why I liked him in the first place.

  2. Not available .. the possible next president not available .. let me guess why America will never be a leader in the world again .. the people have no way of truly knowing what is going on .. but if Justin Bieber were sceduled to play I bet we’d be able to tune in ..

        • Agree. I just can’t get behind Rubio at this time. I’m not sure why, but I guess maybe he seems too glib, too superficial, too practiced, too willing to say anything that’s gets him a round applause. But we all have our favorites for a thousand different reasons and that’s OK. Supporting or not supporting a candidate is a very complex process shaped by our experiences, peer group, age, family background, how we feel on any particular day, how we perceive certain personality types, our values and principles, who a candidate may remind us of, what we “hear” or don’t “hear” a candidate say.

          • I like Rubio, as you guys know. I was in debate and speech all thru HS and collitch, and I love how he can just sit there and say what he wants to–not like a slow talker we know. As for the content–I agree with most of it. His point about everyone not needing to go college to be a success was something I write about all the time on my working blog. The Wash Post picked the nite–philosophy profs make $80K, welders $26K. Really not the point–so not the point. The point is good-paying (and I think many welders make more) jobs are what went missing when the Rust Belt rusted. More than half of people don’t even finish college in 4 yrs–many linger in junior college for many yrs. That is the pt he was making…
