  1. Has anyone else noticed that there haven’t been any lunches with Biden lately. A meeting with President Widodo of Indonesia. They can speak Bahasa Indonesian together. Maybe they can pray from the Quran.

  2. Just noticed meeting about test taking time. Time? Shouldn’t Clock Boy be involved? I mean “teachers”, “Educators” and “time” — WE WANT CLOCK BOY.

ooops I think he moved to Syria or something.

  3. OT Add Joe Biden to the Paul Ryan fan club. Seems there are more Democrats for him then Republicans. And gee. I wonder why.

Norah O’Donnell: What one or two things do you think you can get done?

Vice President Biden: Well, I think we can get a number of things done. One, I think we can really begin to nail down this commitment to work on cancer and head toward a moonshot. The president and I have already talked about that. Number two, I think we can make some real progress, particularly with Paul Ryan, who is a good guy, on working toward an accommodation on the budget and on keeping the government open.

Norah O’Donnell: This White House has not been able to get much done with this Congress. Do you think–

    Vice President Biden: That’s true.

Norah O’Donnell: –that Speaker Ryan will change things?

Vice President Biden: Yes. This is a decent guy. And he knows you cannot function–this government can’t function without reaching some consensus and he wants to do that.

  4. I’m confused. Fox aired over 1100 segments on Benghazi the 24 months after it occurred. I was looking forward to watching the ENTIRE HEARING. Can someone kindly explain why Fox bailed out of the hearing with 4 hours to go?? CNN and MSNBC carried it all. Guess they are more Fair and Balanced than Fox. Thought Dana Perino was going to cry on O’Reilly. Maybe it was just political after all, right Mr. McCarthy?Bret Baier looked so sad too

  5. Schedule for the Week of October 26, 2015

On Monday, the President will attend Senator Daschle and Senator Mitchell’s Luncheon at the Metropolitan Club in Washington, DC.

In the afternoon, the President will welcome President Joko Widodo of Indonesia to the White House. President Widodo will make his first visit to the United States since becoming President of Indonesia. The President looks forward to charting with President Widodo a new phase for the U.S.-Indonesian partnership. As leaders of two of the largest democracies in the world, the President and President Widodo will discuss plans to expand existing areas of bilateral cooperation, including in defense, trade and investment, climate and energy, as well ways to pursue new growth areas for the partnership, such as maritime cooperation. They will also discuss ways to address a range of regional and global challenges.

On Tuesday, the President will welcome the United States Women’s National Soccer Team to the White House to honor the team and their victory in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. This visit will continue the tradition begun by President Obama of honoring sports teams for their efforts to give back to their communities.

In the afternoon, the President will travel to Chicago, Illinois to address the International Association of Chiefs of Police at the 122nd Annual IACP Conference and Exposition. The event is the largest gathering of law enforcement leaders in the world with more than 14,000 public safety professionals and 700 exhibiting companies.

Later in the day, the President will attend a DSCC event and a DNC event. The President will remain in Chicago overnight and return to Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, October 28.

On Thursday, the President will participate in a DCCC roundtable.

On Friday, the President and the First Lady will welcome local children and children of military families to trick-or-treat at the South Portico of the White House.

      • I guess you don’t remember months long visits to Ranch De Cielo by Reagan or W to Texassss.Does not fit in the echo chambers view of reality.

        • As though 2 weeks every summer in Martha’s Vineyard with hundreds of SSA and staff in tow at taxpayer expense is “reality” for anyone other than nouveau riche academic blowhards.

      • After all the ignoring he has done to address what disrespect being shown to the police, I was surprised he would be attending this.
I am not familiar with this Annual meeting of law enforcement leaders of the World. Anyone have any basic info on this?

        • Simple. Because of the later fund raiser in Chicago, he gets to put that on our dime to pay for his trip. Sort of like sitting through a boring time-share sales presentation for the freebies afterwards.

  6. As far as I can tell, correct me if I’m wrong, the only WH official to meet the dead body of Master Sgt Joshua Wheeler as it came off a plane at Dover AFB was Secretary of Defense Ash Carter. Did I miss Obama’s Amazing Grace rendition for this man who scarified his life for our country? Did I see Wheeler’s parents invited to the Rose Garden? I think not.

A pathetic response from Obama. Just pathetic.

    • No need for photo ops – elections are over.

But who can forget his horrendous lack of respect for the famlies of the 30 fallen troops killed in Afghanistan just before the 2012 election. Members of Team Six were aboard a helicopter targeted by the Taliban b/c Obama had revealed their identity as the troops that killed OBL.

The families of the 30 troops specifically requested that no photos be taken as the caskets arrived at AFB.

Undaunted, Obama disrespected the families and had Pete Souza photograph him in silhouette as the caskets were being placed in individual hearses. What a slime!

    • Mike Barnicle wrote a column (maybe by himself) that said Wheeler got no recognition. Wheeler was every other story on Fox all weekend…Maybe the MSNBCers should check out the oppo like some of us do.

      • Star can you answer this as the school marm of this site?

      • I read it-“Ben Carson Gives New Meaning to Crazy”,Barnicle October 11th. I wholeheartedly agree with your incisive analysis. Thanks for the recommendation!

  7. In other news: Sharpton to deliver remarks at the funeral of slain NYPD officers, sparks fly in the controversy.

Q: Lets assume the parents WANT Sharpie there. Imagine this: If the slain officer was white and the parents asked the Rev to deliver some words, would he go?

    Just sayin…..

    H

  8. I see the moron is back on the playground. Sorry Star, call it like it is. It’s not like he is here to honestly engage. Just another Obama wanna be agitator.

    Have fun.

    • Weak teabaggers, Go Carson/Trump! You doofusses are so entertaining.

    • Thank you Star. Thank you Grace. As long as this is a place of respectful discussion, I will read, learn and participate. Once it degrades to name calling and disrespect, I, and others will leave. Thank you both for calling out Mr. J.

        • He’s just an obvious troll with approved talking points he’s paid to post on various sites. I’ve seen the exact same sentences posted on another site in the last two days. No doubt he’s paying his way through high school with these posts. The quality of trolls has dropped significantly in recent years, and he’s an example. They used to be far more literate and even funny. Those days are gone, apparently.

        • Star, it’s his third attempt at high school so we have to cut him some slack. ;+}. He still hasn’t mastered basic punctuation and sentence structure, but that will come in time.

  9. Hilliary promised last Saturday while in Iowa, that she will go beyond what Obama has done for illegals and will use executive order to end deportations. She also called illegals “law abiding” despite they’ve already broken our immigration laws by being here illegally.

Meanwhile, last week 7 bodies were found on a ranch a mere 160 yards from the AZ/Mexico border, where illegal border crossings are staged. The men were tortured and killed by a drug cartel; one man was beheaded, another was wanted by the US for drug trafficking.
