  1. Exhausted from handing the baton to Putin. And those Castro brothers ….it’s always something.

Now that Obama has ceded all power to foreign dictators and international organizations I guess he’ll have more days like this one. Or, perhaps too much time on his hands, and he will complete his destruction of the US.

  2. This so called Schedule is not even comment worthy. I would like all to look at what is going on in Australia (yes, they took our guns away but we are catching on!)
I wish we could get this going here, maybe start in San Francisco and move up PCH thru Portland and into Seattle!

  3. So, there I was, walking through the mall in Chicago, and I saw that there was a ‘Muslim Book Store’. I was wondering what exactly was in a Muslim bookstore, so I went in.
As I was wandering around taking a look, the clerk stopped me and asked if he could help me.
I imagine I didn’t look like his normal clientele, so I asked, “Do you have a copy of Donald Trump’s book on his U.S. Immigration Policy regarding Muslims and illegal Mexicans?”
The clerk said, “F**k off, get out and stay out!”
I said, “Yes, that’s the one. Do you have it in paperback?”

  4. Ugh, I didn’t even watch the video. Reading about it is enough, (she has made these complainst before, btw):

    https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/michelle-obama-just-wants-open-her-car-window-135603082.html

Stephen Colbert hosted Michelle Obama on Monday’s “Late Show,” on which the first lady admitted she’s counting down the days remaining on her husband’s presidency and looking forward to being a normal person.

There are a few pretty basic things on Obama’s bucket list for the 2016 election turnover.

“I also want to do little things like open a window,” she said. “I want to go to Target. I want to drive.”

“I can’t open my windows, I really can’t,” Obama continued. “The window opens — if I press it in the car, everybody’s like, ‘Oh my God, what was that?’”

“One day as a treat, my lead agent let me have my windows open on the way to Camp David,” she recalled. “It was like five minutes out, and he was like, ‘The window’s open, enjoy it.”

    ==================

Just 478 more days to go, Mooch! Somehow, you’ll have to suffer through it. I’m sure there will be at least a couple of months’ worth of vacation time in there, not to mention some “official trips” around the world promoting this new “Let Girls Learn” initiative, (which is just another scam to enable her to travel around the world during their last two years).

    • Does MO know how elitest she sounds when she whines about entitlements that may require extra security ?

I read about the Colbert interview which sounded like he filled his slobber bucket to the top!

      • The window? Become a normal person? I can’t imagine caring less. By the way, Michelle, we can’t open windows here bec it’s 105 degrees and we can’t afford to sacrifice any air conditioning in your husband’s pre-recession economy!

  5. I, as you know, love Edward Snowden and now, I read, he is on Twitter. After his first tweet, “Can you hear me now ?” he had half a million followers in 4 hours and the numbers are rising and rising. But Snowden himself only follows one user , and guess who ? Yes, the NSA. He tweets: I used to work for the government, now I work for the public, the ordinary people.
He tweets that he works full time for the freedom of the press but he still have some time for cat-pictures.
A sweet, cat-loving champion of the free word, what´s not to like there ? I hope that he one day will be able to return to his home country. A true white knight, that´s what he is.

    • Pootie and Iran thank Barry for the sweet nuke deal…and tell him to get lost.
      Love it!!!

***Every news outlet should keep re-playing Obama’s disastrous response to Romney re Russia at the 2012 debate.

      • Exactly. If Obama had bothered, even occasionally, to read his daily PDBs, He would have seen Putin on the rise. Even in 2012. Maybe ValJar doesn’t permit Obama to read the PDBs. You can bet SHE reads them carefully.

          • Good question, and part of the larger question of why hasn’t the MSM done a thorough vetting of her after all this time? She has a dodgy background (to say the least) and that background informs her influence as Obama’s handler.

  6. Way OT, but I was wondering what swedishlady’s response would be to this:

“The Washington Post has published an article showing strong sympathy for a European migrant who murdered two innocent people with a knife, describing him as a “handsome man” in search of a “new beginning” before he was unfortunately sidetracked into mass murder.

Abraham Ukbagabir, a migrant from Eritrea, horrified Sweden last month when, without provocation, he attacked two people at an Ikea store and stabbed them to death, before turning the knife on himself in a failed suicide attempt.”

Too bad he failed, in my opinion.

    • The murderer,an African man, got a negative decision in his apply for asylum , went to IKEA and murdered two shoppers, a female physician and her son. He is now awaiting his trial. Is Washington Post really positive to this ?
I agree, I´mNoDhimmi, it´s too bad he failed in his suicide attempt. I don´t know if it is possible, but I would like to see him serve his sentence in Eritrea, that´s were he belongs.

        • I had it there for Marcus, and hoped it would not offend you. I am glad you read it. Steyn is an excellent writer, thinker, philosopher and as he indicates he doesn’t back down as he moves forward in life. And he has paid for it.

      • It’s a great article! Mark gets to the point better than most of the pundits. Bam! and you’re there. And I agree, as a very conservative Latin Mass Catholic, why the blue blazes did the Pope waste his time talking about climate change, etc? What about the thousands of Christians, Jews and even Muslims being tortured, crucified, beheaded by ISIS? That’s the primary tragedy happening in our world today. Very disappointing trip. I think JP2 would have given a very different speech.

Question for you Grace, since you have connections and experience in these things: what is Putin’s relationship with the Duma? Do they heartily support his actions? Are they split? Does he have enemies in the Duma, does he pay any attention to them, etc.?

        • Pretty much anything Putin does not like can either be changed or “eliminated”.

Although Russia now has the veneer of “infrastructure” and opposition parties it can function arbitrarily.

I have not kept up up on the Duma, but here is a lengthy article on Duma electoral changes. Electoral changes to the benefit of Putin. But wade through it if you like. It’s interesting.

For me, the most important part of it is the last sentence.***** ” Only one thing is clear: electoral laws in Russia will keep on changing according to the Kremlin’s political interests, and any reform will be aimed at increasing the executive’s control over Parliament.”
          ********
As you know, Russians love a “grand Russia” so I am pretty sure Putin’s moves in the world recently are well received by the “masses”.

And yet, there will always be brave dissidents.

IMR also publishes the Interpreter which I used to track events in Ukraine.

          http://imrussia.org/en/politics/368-how-putin-elects-the-duma

          • Thanks…I’ll read it right now. Sounds interesting. So it would seem that Putin is engineering the Duma he wants to accomplish his goals. I’ll find out when I go through the article. Thanks!

          • Well, I was in my early 30’s when the liturgy changed, and so I was formed under the old tradition. My big gripe re the “new Mass” was the unbelievably inappropriate hootenanny music. It aggravated me to the extent that I would put in earplugs when the singing started–which aggravated my wife to no end ;}. Then a new Bishop came into the diocese and “permitted” the Traditional Mass, and one of the Churches in the city began the Latin Mass on Sunday mornings. And I felt I was back home. ;+}

          • Marcus, I am with you on the Latin Mass — I go when I can.

But I am very peculiar about “my” masses. And I was kind of griping about it one day and my father (immigrant, old school Slovak, Army,) looked at me and said “Mass is Mass”. Took me years to get that — it is the Mass itself and what it means to you (for me it is the transubstantiation) and not all the bells and whistles that might change around it.

So, I do my own thing — Still do the “Lord, I am not worthy to receive you….” — can’t get that “enter into/unto/under my roof thing”. :)

BTW, the Duma or any “Parliament” in Russian history never survives long enough to be “independent” –.

  7. Obama is content.

Ash Carter, tore himself away the important issue of transgenders in the military, and told the world that there will be no consequences to the Russians; that this Administration “trusts” the Russians, and then Carter segued to the all important to the Russians and the world — US women in the military and defense cuts.

Talk, talk, talk — that is all Obama knows what to do. He won’t lift a finger to defend this country against our enemies.
