As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Trump Security Takes Protestors’ Signs

Some of Trump’s goons tore up signs held by protestors and bashed one of them in the head when the protestor tried to retrieve it.

The protestors were carrying some provocative signs on the sidewalk outside Trump headquarters, comparing him to the KKK and so forth. Not sure about the legality of trying to unclog the area on the sidewalk in front of a building. Seems like the obligation would be to call the police to do it.

Here’s a video report that includes the encounter. The reporter also notes that Trump left himself an out with his pledge to support the Republican nominee, saying he has no “intention” of changing his mind.

  1. Clearly the protestor grabbed “the goon” first and got clocked.

I wonder what oppo org financed that little display of astroturf ? Those signs were professionally made and Police SHOULD have had a free speech zone for them, did they cross it?

Looks like the mob was a little out of control there in that short clip, but hey, things are different now in DiBlasio world and the NYPD being told to ignore the small stuff. Probably why Trump has to hire “goons”.

  2. How sad; MrTrump has “goons”. Said “goons” took offensive signs from offensive non-“goons” and one of them got bonked in the head. tsk tsk
Why just yesterday, the public was informed that MrTrump couldn’t tell a media questioner the difference between the “Kurds” or the “Cuds” – ah, and he hopes to lead our country. tsk tsk.
Last week, MrTrump refused to quote his favorite passage from the Bible – tsk tsk.

A “goon”? How about a out-of-control security guard, or are we to believe that MrTrump is now the head of a criminal organization.
    geez.

  3. “Listen closely, though, and you hear the unpredictable, and thrice married, Trump appear to give himself an out. ‘I have no intention of changing my mind,’ he said. …There was one thing, though, that Trump won’t directly address. That was a question about a poll showing a majority of Trump supporters also think President Barack Obama is a Muslim who wasn’t born in the country.”

Note to self: Listen closely. NY1 Time Warner Cable News. Aha. Got it.

  4. The ‘protestor’ who attacked FIRST looks like one of those illegals Jeb says we should welcome with open arms.
After he attacked the “goon” who took his sign, he attacked another “goon’ who was just standing against the bldg. minding his own business.

If only we could enforce our existing immigration laws, ICE could have had a good day yesterday. Thanks Barry!!!

  5. “If people in the media cannot decide whether they are in the business of reporting news or manufacturing propaganda, it is all the more important that the public understand that difference, and choose their news sources accordingly.” -Thomas Sowell

    • Perfect. I am completely fed up with elitist pundits and commenters and, most of all, “news” people telling us the proper way to think about an issue, what is an acceptable opinion and what is not acceptable, what is to believed and what is to be mocked. Tired of it. Not putting up with it.

  6. Remember this: the drug cartels have a $100,000,000 bounty on Trump’s head. That amount of money is going to attract a lot of nuts and “protesters” to Trump’s physical presence in the hope of killing him and winning the big reward. Can’t say it any plainer than that. His security detail ain’t fooling around and they want that message to be understood clearly.

  7. Some last words on this; for 6 years, we’ve had to defend ourselves from the accusations, name-calling by everyone in the liberal media, the one-issue wackos, and even the POTUS.
Now, we are feeling obligated to defend a billionaire who owns his own jet from the same liberal bully tactics in the interest of fairness and American values.
Words matter. A security guard is not a goon, people who attend a political rally are not crazy, we are not appalling, stupid, ill-educated, racist, or even terrorists.
We are law-abiding citizens who expect everyone to play fair, and our elected officals to enforce our current laws whatever they might be.
I say – STOP – let the electoral process run it’s course without trying to shape the opinions, change the rules or bully the public into a certain mindset.
    Just stop. Please.

    • ..expect elected officials to enforce (or execute) our laws–yes, Kim Davis. If her religious beliefs conflict with her office, this is her personal problem–make a decision. And Huckabee is smoking something if he thinks every Supreme Court decision needs to be accompanied by an enabling law–where did he get that? He is another one–if you listen to him, your brain starts to shrink.

  8. So, when you protest, you don’t expect anyone to do anything to you. Your protest is a sign of a threat to your opposition. I take it that you think that your opposition is just going to sit there and take your protest lying down. This is demonstrating that America’s political protest are becoming meaningless if a protester, protest any response towards their actions. It stupid to think that if you stand up for something that you will not be affronted. The idea of meaningful protest is to not only show a sign by risk your life as well. If you are afraid of risking your life, your protest is meaningless.
