Kerry Claims the Goal Wasn’t to End Iran’s Nuclear Program

I don’t know – how does he think he can get away with saying something that simply isn’t true?

I guess because they get away with such things all the time.

The administration keep claiming it wasn’t trying to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program. But officials, including President Obama, repeatedly said and suggested that’s exactly what they wanted.

Here’s some video contrasting Secretary of State John Kerry during his Senate testimony today with – Secretary of State John Kerry.

Oh, and here’s Obama during his debate with Mitt Romney:

The work that we’ve done with respect to sanctions now offers Iran a choice. They can take the diplomatic route and end their nuclear program or they will have to face a united world and a United States president, me, who said we’re not going to take any options off the table.

Uh, if he meant nuclear weapons program, he would have said it.

Here’s some more great video from Kerry’s testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, in which Sen. Bob Menenedez, D-N.J., reminds him that the sanctions the White House constantly touts as having forced Iran to cry uncle were in reality opposed by the White House.

Actually, of course, if you take a look at the deal, Iran never really cried “uncle.” Maybe “cousin.”

  1. They’re not only liars but can’t keep remember what they had said. Perhaps they need a script to review what they’ve bee saying to the public. Dummies!

  2. The goal, we now know, wasn’t to deter Iran’s from acquiring a nuclear bomb and delivery system. The goal was to get Kerry a Nobel Peace prize. Mr. Smoke and Mirrors made that very clear in his testimony to the Senate committee today.

  3. i think a great question would have been: do you have an under ground bunker at home? He would have been caught off guard. I think he would have responded has a child and said: none of your business. On the other hand, Hillary flew back with her comment, what difference does it make? She moved on to another slap in the face to Americans, by taking up shredding.

  4. John Kerry, is one the most arrogant, condescending person in our government and he is completely out of touch with reality if he thinks that only HE, Øbama and Jarrett should write our policies for a nuclear deal
I could give a flying ____ (fill in the blank/s with the most colorful descriptive word/s.) about the Iran Ayatollahs’ thoughts or feelings when they have imprisoned 4 American citizens, drugged and tortured them, they violate their citizens’ human rights, they supply radical Islamist terrorism, they deny Israel the right to live as people and want to annihilate both Israel and the USA.
Kerry, Øbama and Co. are nothing more than treasonous lying traitors to the American people and our Constitutional Republic.
I just wish divine intervention would step in.

  5. This little story Kerry told about himself being in war (4 months) in Vietnam as justification for this Iran Deal and that pathetic Wendy Sherman’s response to his words are disgusting.

My comment to this article was that Re. Vietnam and John Kerry. The man positively slithers on his belly.

There is no honor that one can attach to John Kerry — he has no honor himself and deserves none. Worse than the deal are those complicit in it.

  6. Menendes’ blinders seem to have fallen off after he was investigated after voicing his disapproval of the administration. There may be some hope of redemption for him.

  7. “…they will have to face a united world and a United States president, me…”

Who talks like that? A self-absorbed, sociopathic narcissist with delusions of grandeur, that’s who.
