As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Video || Obama Celebrates Defeat of “Partisan” Challenge

Wait. Sorry, wrong one.

The correct one is below. Here’s some verbiage from it:

After the dust has settled, there can be no doubt that this law is working . . . After multiple challenges to this law before the Supreme Court, the Affordable Care Act is here to stay. This morning, the court upheld a critical part of this law, the part that’s made it easier for Americans to afford health insurance regardless of where you live.

If the partisan challenge to this law had succeeded, millions of Americans would have had thousands of dollars worth of tax credits taken from them . . . America would have gone backwards. That’s not what we do. That’s not what America does. We move forward.

Everything and everyone opposing Obama is partisan, in his mind – not advancing on any kind of principle, such as, for example, that laws actually mean what they say. Everything and everyone with a contrary idea to Obama wants to “move backwards,” no matter that moving forward in directions set by Obama either so often steps us off a cliff or moves so many Americans harmed by his policies in the wrong direction.

Obamacare will usher in the gradual destruction of health care for average Americans, raising their costs and their taxes, depleting the quality of care, and leading to health care rationing. There were other ways to provide greater access to health insurance without mandating coverage and having the government set the rules.

Americans of current and future generations will suffer and die because of this law. And that, folks, is what is called moving backwards.

  1. My cost for everything has gone up thanks to O zero ACA Obummer care.
    Lab 15 to 45 dollars
    MRI 15 to 250 dollars
    x Rays 15 to 30 dollars
Now I found out that if one needs opioid pain meds you have to have drug screening for all illegal drugs. Not just the RX you are taking! Spying plane and simple.

Thanks for nothing Illegal alien president. Go back to the Jungle!

  2. I do not want to hear a word from him nor Congress, nor the Supreme Court untill they stick themselves in the Care.
How dare anyone shove something down the throats of Americans when they are not sharing in the downfall of care.

  3. Call it what he likes, Bubmles is still worthless.
And the first Republican president elected better make it their first duty to repeal this garbage.

  4. Today’s Supreme Court decision is a Pyrrhic victory for the Democrats, the Supreme Court and the dumb Republicans who supported ObamaCare, and didn’t care enough to destroy this law.

  5. These words will be written on America’s tombstone:

“In this instance, the context and structure of the Act compel us to depart from what would otherwise be the most natural reading of the pertinent statutory phrase”

  6. I love how the pundits are saying this humiliating defeat could end up helping the GOP in 2016. Repeal and replace, etc. Huh?

Obama’s two sacred cows are now immigration and Obamacare. Doesn’t matter at this point how he got it done – by hook or by crook –
it’s done! Anyone who even suggests undoing Obama’s handiwork will be run out of town on a rail.

Hillary is a shoo-in, unless someone big comes in from the DEM party.

I don’t exactly understand how we ended up in such a hole, but with grandstanding do-nothings such as Boehner, McConnel, Issa, Gowdy, Mike Lee, and the rest of the wimps…the GOP is an embarrassment.

Seriously, Trump couldn’t do a worse job than these incompetents. Call me disgusted.

  7. “After multiple challenges to this law before the Supreme Court, the Affordable Care Act is here to stay.”

Um, not quite, Barry. No law is here to stay. Any law can e repealed by another Congress and POTUS. So, be careful about being so smug, you slimeball!

  8. I think we should start calling January 20, 2009, Nakba Day, if I can steal a term from the Palestinians (along with all that land, LOL).

the election of Barack Obama was truly a catastrophe that started this country on its downhill slide. 300 years from now, when the United States as we know it is no longer, I wonder if people will understand how wonderful it was while it lasted?

  9. Oh, please.

LET this spawn of Satan spike the football all he wants.

(As an aside, I’m starting to think there may be something to that. Strange But True: the day after the 2008 elections, the Pick 3 number in the Illinois Lottery was 666. Look it up–even Snopes had to admit it was true.)

But now let’s get back to the action…

LET Stompy Feet do an end zone dance. LET him rub it in the faces of ordinary Americans. LET him spend the next 574 days singing “Nanny nanny boo boo.”

Because the Republicans are going to point out that the next president is probably going to pick at LEAST four Justices on the Supreme Court.

And if the idea that the Clintons–who would sell anything to anyone if the price was right–could get that many opportunities to sell seats on the Supreme Court, doesn’t get conservatives to the polls in droves, then America is already over.

So now, the Supreme Court has essentially put the ACA squarely back in play for 2016, and, as a bonus, the GOP doesn’t even have to come up with an alternative for the time being.

They can simply snipe at at and run up the score…because by the time the 2016 elections roll around, there will be more than enough horror stories, and the Democrats won’t be able to defend what will, by then, be indefensible.

So, in the end, King v. Burwell may turn out to by the most Pyrrhic victory since, perhaps, Pyrrhus himself.
