  1. Why do the taxpayers pay his way? Anything he does as President looks to be strictly part time. Not as well paid as Huma Abedin, but then, he has to live in government housing.

    • DeniseVB, of course there’s some “official business”. The DNC never picks up the tab. Obummer is speaking at the Annual Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors on Friday, so there ya go, the bill’s on us. How convenient that they arranged a bunch of fundraisers in LA and SFO around the Mayors conference. Also, don’t forget, he’ll be back in Palm Springs all weekend with the Choom Gang playing golf and doing whatever it is they do. All billed to the US taxpayers, as per usual:

On Friday, the President will travel to the San Francisco, California area to deliver remarks at the Annual Meeting of the U.S. Conference of Mayors and attend DNC and DCCC events. Further details about the President’s travel to California will be made available in the coming days.

      • No offense to Keith, but thought of you Snark, you should be doing the daily schedules :)

Daily Mail is the ONLY media covering the Obama ladies in Europe (see MOTUS for links, we can’t post them fast enough, heh). No wonder Hillary doesn’t allow them to cover her.

  2. OT – I saw there were some comments yesterday about Dana Perino on yesterday’s The Five. Well, holy cow, I hope you all saw the opening segment of the show today. She was positively rabid in her attacks on Trump, but also on Eric Bolling. He appeared shocked and deeply offended, rightly so, when she ended up accusing him of “covering for Trump” because he’s wanted to be on the Celebrity Apprentice for years. She was the worst I have ever seen her, shouting over Eric and the others, waving her hands around, and pointing her finger at him.

You have to ask when Dana Perino gets this upset over a “clown” like Trump…WHY is she, (on behalf of Jeb), so darn afraid of him??

    • The exchange with Dana and Bolling was shocking. Didn’t look like they were faking it, either. Looks more like she wants him off the show.

      • Yes, even though I am no Eric fan, she did blast him. I have never seen her like that. Accusing him of that motive was out of line, I thought, too. But I also thought Trump diagnosing JEB! as an unhappy person was out of line. What is he now, a shrink?

  3. And some wonder what Obummer does with all his free time. The man has his priorities, you know. He had to make phone calls today to the Chicago Blackhawks, who won the Stanley Cup on Monday night, and to the Golden State Warriors, who won the NBA Championship last night:

    http://chicago.suntimes.com/lynn-sweet-politics/7/71/699169/obama-calls-blackhawks-quenneville-wirtz-toews-stanley-cup-win

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama on Wednesday called Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville, team chairman Rocky Wirtz and team captain Jonathan Toews to congratulate the team on its 2015 Stanley Cup win.

The White House released a summary of the call to the Blackhawks leadership in a statement: “The President commended their leadership, and the entire team’s efforts on their third championship in six years. The President added that he looks forward to welcoming the team back to the White House to celebrate their victory.”

Obama is a giant basketball fan and player.

He also phoned Golden State Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr, a former Chicago Bull, to congratulate him and his team on clinching the NBA Finals on Tuesday night.

In the call to the Kerr the White House said Obama “noted how exciting the series was to watch and recognized the team’s perseverance in winning its first title in 40 years. The President applauded the team’s efforts, especially Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala, and said he looks forward to welcoming the team to the White House to celebrate their championship.”

    • He’s looking forward to more team jerseys bearing his name, so he can bask in the glory of athletic “stardom” he couldn’t attain without taxpayer money.

BTW: Did he ever learn the names of his beloved White Sox — or the name of their field?

  4. Dreading tomorrow! Will be stuck smack dab in the middle of both fundraisers. We’re all hostages when the King makes an appearance. The last time, a pregnant woman wasn’t allowed to cross the street to get to Cedars Hospital, and almost had her baby on the bus bench.
    How I despise this man!

  5. Let’s see….the cost of flying Benedict Arnold to the left coast (where I live and we
all dread him arriving….traffic jams, etc)
has to be ten times the cost of whatever he
picks up at the private casas out here….
news flash!! Moochelle will take all the expensive trips she can in the next 18 mos.
and he will be absentee in Washington….
fundraising and managing a round or two of
golf at the same time and hosting more big
parties, at taxpayer’s expense, at the WH,
like the one last week-end…like the Clintons, they’ll walk out with all the silverware, gifts and china they can get their hands on…..seems it’s always the dems that do that….hmmm
