  1. OT – Peggy Noonan posted an Op-ed in the WSJ this evening:

How the Clintons Get Away With It

The Clintons are protected from charges of corruption by their reputation for corruption.

I have read the Peter Schweizer book “Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich.” It is something. Because it is heavily researched and reported and soberly analyzed, it is a highly effective takedown. Because its tone is modest—Mr. Schweitzer doesn’t pretend to more than he has, or take wild interpretive leaps—it is believable.

By the end I was certain of two things. A formal investigation, from Congress or the Justice Department, is needed to determine if Hillary Clinton’s State Department functioned, at least to some degree and in some cases, as pay-for-play operation and whether the Clinton Foundation has functioned, at least in part, as a kind of high-class philanthropic slush fund.

I wonder if any aspirant for the presidency except Hillary Clinton could survive such a book. I suspect she can because the Clintons are unique in the annals of American politics: They are protected from charges of corruption by their reputation for corruption. It’s not news anymore. They’re like . . . Bonnie and Clyde go on a spree, hold up a bunch of banks, it causes a sensation, there’s a trial, and they’re acquitted. They walk out of the courthouse, get in a car, rob a bank, get hauled in, complain they’re being picked on—“Why are you always following us?”—and again, not guilty. They rob the next bank and no one cares. “That’s just Bonnie and Clyde doing what Bonnie and Clyde do. No one else cares, why should I?”

  2. Definitely believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared to be
on the net the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I certainly get irked while
people think about worries that they just do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people could
take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

  3. OT NSA’s phone spying program ruled illegal by appeals court.
The appeals court did not rule on whether the surveillance violated the Constitution.
It also declined to halt the program, noting that parts of the Patriot Act including Section 215 expire June 1.
Lynch said it was “prudent” to give Congress a chance to decide what surveillance is permissible, given the national interests at stake.

  4. We have all discussed this issue at WHD, before he made this announcement. Same time o can bad mouth anyone, and anything he wants except the enemy.

  5. Geraldo Rivera on Fox, just stated: Isn’t she crying fire in a crowded theater? I turned it off. They were discussing again the cartoon contest.
    Slippery Slope…

  6. Today is the 70th anniversary of VE Day, and we celebrate the end of WW2. It’s a big day in Washington, with a flyover of WW2 aircraft, the honoring of about 400 WW2 veterans who are there, thousands of people gathered to honor the memory of those who served and died in the war. Heroes. Every one of them.

VE Day is not even on Obama’s schedule. He’s acting like Clinton on the 50th anniversary of D-Day. When world leaders gathered on the beach of Normandy that day to remember the event, Billy Clinton was in Moscow. True.

So why isn’t Obama in Washington to join in the gathering? Why isn’t DOD Secretary Ashton joining the ceremony? Why is the Obama administration sending the completely discredited Susan Rice and Madeleine Albright to represent the government at the scene? We know why, don’t we?

Where are the words of remembrance from Obama? He likes to make speeches, so where is he today? Well, we know, don’t we? He’s on the west coast, as far away from the VE Day ceremonies in Washington as he can be. That’s the way he rolls. Jerk.

    • I just watched the airplanes on C-Span.
Heros is correct. A citizen salute to the 400 Veterans who were there, and the ones who could not get there as well. Salute to all that served.

      • Most citizens realize this Obama character, or whatever his real name is, is not one of us. He is completely disconnected from the values, principles and traditions of the United States of America. His absence–verbally and physically– from today’s VE events is one example in a long list of examples is all the proof we need.

  7. Obama must be impeached, he is a racist and a sadist, only wants to hurt and ruin America. He is very disturbed and very evil, a wet-brain, alcohol and drugs, always up to no good. His intention is to harm. Ben Carson is right about him.

  8. Could it be that Clinton used her Secretary of State position to raise money for the family slush fund? Yes it could be. Clinton is always counting her sheckels, also could it be that Clinton decided to run again for President to get more money donations, foreign an domestic, for the family “Foundation”? Clintons take money from people for their greed and “influence” racket.

  9. The videographers should then provide them with different
samples of the work that they have previously done. They know how important this day
is for you and your family, which is why they do their all to make
sure that you are beyond happy with the final product.
We have penned down our experience in the Dreamlife Wedding blog.

  10. Crub the outsole and the un-nylon material part with collar-cleaning.

A short and thinned out toe box on the front helps make accelerating and jumping significantly easier as
your toes will have additional regulate more than motion. Most people can’t afford
this option, of course, but you should never wear your basketball shoes
after they’ve become worn out because you will regret it
later with foot and ankle problems, or any other injury you can think of.

  11. They can also watch Discovery Kids and Animal Planet.
As we have previously seen, there is now the possibility to have live wallpapers on Android.
The Knicks also did a great job in getting value in return for departing free agent David Lee.
