  1. Obama’s schedule dosen’t say whether he is flying back to DC. I assume he might fly to Sunnylands for golf and a three day weekend.

    • I’m sure he wishes he could do that, but this is from the weekly schedule:

On Thursday, the President will welcome the United States Air Force Academy football team to the White House to present them with the 2014 Commander-in-Chief’s Trophy. In the afternoon, the President will travel to the Portland, Oregon area to attend a DNC event. The President will remain overnight in Oregon.

On Friday, the President will attend an event held at Nike headquarters to discuss how workers will benefit from progressive, high-standards trade agreements that would open up new markets and support high-quality jobs both for Oregon small businesses and large companies like Nike. The President will also make the case that strong bipartisan trade promotion legislation – introduced this month by Senators Ron Wyden and Orrin Hatch – is an important step to ensure our trade policy works for the middle class through strong enforcement provisions, transparency, and the requirement that our trade agreements include high-standards to bring greater opportunity to American businesses, level the playing field for American workers, protect the environment, and raise human rights and labor standards around the world.

Afterward, the President will travel to Watertown, South Dakota to deliver the commencement address for the graduating class at Lake Area Technical Institute. Lake Area Technical Institute is one of the top community colleges in the nation, and is recognized for rigorously preparing its students with the skills they need to compete in the 21st Century economy. With a two-year graduation rate more than twice the national average, Lake Area Technical Institute focuses on providing its graduates smooth pathways to high skilled careers with private-sector businesses.

Are Nikes made here–or in China?

  2. The President is going to South Dakota to give the commencement address at “one of the top community colleges in the nation”? It’s nothing but work, work, work.

  3. Just love when they use the word transparency.
Can’t ovomit & his minions say or do anything without lies and deception? No other way to say it, they are profane & evil. This Country deserves so much more than this.

  4. Again with the ‘Receiving” the daily briefing.

Tom Brady can officially toss the President a deflated ball so he can “receive” the daily de-briefing.

  5. OT: I have missed Joshi for several days. I just read on http://www.weaselzippers.us
If a future P. Hilla wants to go furthur than O did on immigration using Executive action, she likely has some legal homework to do.

Joshi said on Wednesday that o did as much as he legally could as far as deferring deportations. So he was for a loss as to how Hilla could JUSTIFY doing more, as she promised to do on Tuesday.
He was asked repeatedly whether additional actions would be illegal, Joshi
    deferred to Clinton’s team.

  6. Obama’s frantic travel schedule makes him look like a desperate guy on the run from the sheriff. Turn yourself in, Barry. The law may allow you a generous plea bargain arrangement.

  7. Obama could have saved the AF Academy football team time & money – instead of them flying to see BHO in the White House, he could have stopped on his way to Portland at the academy and presented to the entire school.

  8. Maybe the vintage military air craft fly over scared him out of the District. Anything that patriotic so close by would surely spook him. PS: no kidding, he really is a coward
