  1. He said the embargo is not a matter of legislation. He’s lying. A quick peek at Wiki shows there are six statutes Trading with the Enemy Act of 1917, the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961, the Cuba Assets Control Regulations of 1963, the Cuban Democracy Act of 1992, the Helms–Burton Act of 1996.

  2. Today he is practicing his “forceful” voice.
Sometimes he tries using his “dramatic” voice.
All his voices irritate me, as do his policies. I’m out…

  3. Diplomatic relations mean a new Embassy. Will Obama have THIS one protected in case a “anti-Castro” video surfaces somewhere down the road? Just wonderin’…

  4. Americans should be wearing black arm bands today. Cuba and the U.S. are both now ruled by communist dictators. Expect the Obamas to celebrate their victory with Jay Z and Beyonce on New Year’s Eve….in Havana! As Obama stated, Cuba is only 90 miles from our shore!

  5. This also disenfrancises Cuban exiles pretty well, kinda a “one China” policy in the offing, I’m guessing. Maybe we’ll send that particular group of immigants back, courtesy of Obama. I’m SURE Raul Castro will open his arms, forgive them their sins against the State, and, uh, “let a thousand flowers bloom”…

Can’t wait for those Elian Gonzalez type videos for when the Government comes for THESE folks. Democrats DO seem fond of appeasing Castros…
