As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Voters oppose Obama amnesty . . . Majorities of American voters think President Barack Obama exceeded his authority with recent executive actions on immigration — and are worried he may be permanently altering the system of checks and balances established by the Constitution. Nearly three quarters think this easing of immigration laws will encourage more people to enter the country illegally.

By a 60-38 percent margin, voters disapprove of the president bypassing Congress to change how the government deals with illegal immigration. In addition, a 54-percent majority thinks Obama “exceeded his authority” under the Constitution by making the immigration changes unilaterally. Thirty-eight percent say he “acted within his authority.” Meanwhile, a record 58 percent said they want to repeal Obamacare. Fox News

  1. Should be a “fun” day — Congress has until midnight to “fund” or the government will “shut down”. Bring the popcorn, watch the kabuki — this totally unnecessary , at the final hour, drama just reinforces to me how dysfunctional our government truly is.

Try this in the private sector and we would be in worse shape than we already are.

Since the Dems seem to be unhappy with the deals for Wall Street, I would imagine this is the call for Fauxcohauntus to begin her I might want to be President in 2016 campaign.

I am disappointed in the Republicans and no longer take this seriously. Because they don’t.

  2. The article regarding release of detainee’s is an eye opener. As you read it, as I you will be astounded that Petagon recently notified Congress it intended to transfer detainees. Doesn’t anyone remember the nightmare of 911.
o doesn’t want to feed a propaganda tool to the maniacs by leaving it open.

  3. Not to beat a dead horse with a broken record, but this “not who we are” stuff is getting old. Being tough, bold, doing what has to be done, standing up for our country IS who we are. Isn’t there any Wild West left in this country? We are compassionate, we reach out to the disadvantaged foreign or domestic, we bleed, but we are also the unpredictable giant–be a little fearful and cautious of us.

Even if this was on another news station (besides Fox) or in a news paper Sir Putts-A-Lots reads before his Daily Briefing (on the same tablet), he doesn’t care. He doesn’t read the briefing anyway. He heard the people loud and clear after the mid term election… what he heard is another story.

Another thing, and I am surprised no one has jumped on this, is in the Senate report on Torture, it was noted Pres. Bush was kept in the dark on these operations. Hasn’t this also been said about every scandal BO has been involved with?? Why he gets to point the finger and throws underlings under the bus.. ?? Of course the D’s and staffers wrote the report. I wonder if they were trying to send a off handed message.
