President Obama today will meet in the Oval Office with Dallas nurse Nina Pham. Pham was one of the brave nurses who cared for Ebola patient Thomas Eric Duncan at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, who was the first person to contract Ebola in the United States.
At a news conference this morning, Pham was declared free of the virus by NIH Director Anthony Fauci. She was treated at the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.
I think this is a nice gesture by Obama, and one that will help provide some comfort to the many Americans frightened by Ebola.
