  1. The regulations don’t seem onerous. The government would quarantine someone for up to three days if she exhibited symptoms of “smallpox, yellow fever, diphtheria, pandemic flu, infectious tuberculosis, cholera — and viral fevers such as Ebola.” She would be forced into it if she refused to cooperate with officials.

Also, airlines fought it because they claimed it was too expensive complicated to let the government know about sick passengers, and to keep contact information about all fliers in case the CDC had to investigate an outbreak.

Anyone wanna’ take a guess as to which lobby held more sway with FCMABBHO?

    • Well, I guess it’s just karma, but guess whose stocks have been leading the market tumble the past few days? At least, that is the reason being given.

    • There will be a CDC Press Conference at 3:30.
I would like to hear if they explain that someone sneezing spit, etc. will make a difference.
They keep trying to assure us that it is NOT AIRBORNE!
I would like to hear why we are not stopping flights for now, from W. Africa, when other Countries have done so for weeks.
If anyone is interested pull up BBC. Go to US/Canada News Pull up article regarding US cameraman in Liberia has Ebola.
Than scroll down. There is a picture of a man handing a white bag of stuff though the sliding glass door. Below that picture it states: Mr ________ relatives have to stay indoors.

      • Please note: I pulled up http://www.foxnews.com
The picture I mentioned that was on BBC is now on Fox,
it states: Family of Dallas Ebola patient, seen receiving supplies from the Red Cross. Now my hat off to all Red Cross workers always, however the man does not have a mask, nor gloves on as he is handing the bag though the sliding glass door. Now if I may ask: Where is FEMA?

  2. God Bless the Marine. In the article it states: Thursday, marking the first reported casualty from the ONGOING OPERATION against the Islamic State In Iraq and Syria.
Should this read as first “WAR” casulty?
My prayers to the Marine and his family. It may not make a difference what his family maybe left behind in finaces and such. It may not make a difference if he gets recognition for his bravery from the service. However the Marine as far as I am concerned risked his life for America. Ongoing Operation could be any type of responsiblity in thousands of different jobs. This man was fighting for the well being of America as well. Anyone here at WHD who knows of the rules of this matter, I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter.

  3. I want to give a special thanks to two young men who rode over with me from the White House tonight, Obama said. Luis and Victor are CHCI (Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) interns and fellows. They are also dreamers, living and working in the country they call home, and making it a better place for all of us.
    *************
This is a comment from a sitting President of the United States — since “Dreamers” can now work on the Hill and ride with a President of the United States — there is little hope the borders will ever be secured.

The Executive and the Legislative Branch are sanction breaking the law.

Can we stop pretending that these people do not vote. Of course, illegals vote.

  4. NBC photographer has Ebola. Coming home for treatment. Hope all goes well.

That said, what purpose does Dr. Nancy Snyderman serve in Liberia? It is unlikely she is mingling with the sick and providing medical assistance.

  5. So is BO and Mo ever home anymore?? Who is paying for MOTUS’s trip to New England? I heard the Lobsta’s are all in hiding.

  6. On Obama’s most recent attack on Fox, Shakespeare, if he were alive today, might have written:

Cassius: “The fault, dear Barry, is not in our stars or in Fox, but in your lousy policies, your vengeful spirit, and your your complete lack of integrity.”
