  1. I got stuck in traffic in Connecticut last week with one of those unannounced Biden fundraisers in Greenwich, for Governor Malloy. How is it legal to not post his public schedule? .

  2. Joints Chiefs Chairman, General Martin Dempsey, toned down remarks he had made last week about growing terror network taking root in Iraq & Syria.
What did they do to Hagel and Dempsey to make them Tone this threat down.
Last week O even stated it was a cancer, was he brought in the same room with Hagel and Dempsey and told as well to tone it down.
The only reason why I can think they were now told to tone it down, is the thought of them having a plan, and want make ISIS not be at attention.

    • There have been a number of contradictory statements made in recent months about ISIS, our role in the Middle East, etc. The State Department says one thing, the Defense Department says another, and Obama says yet another thing. This is what happens when there is no leadership at the top, and another indication that the Obama Administration is in complete meltdown.

Just for the record, ISIS is made up of Takfiri Islamists, the absolutely most violent, pathological branch of Jihadist killers on the planet. The target of the Takiri is, well, everyone–other Muslims, Christians, Jews. Here’s a description of who they are:

  3. Is it really necessary to publicly announce that the USA will be performing recon missions over Syria? This is more “look what we’re doing” from the Don’t do Stupid Stuff people.

I miss the good old days…. recon, plan, attack, then get out before the media even had a clue you were there.

    H

    • i said the same thing when stupid pres announced recon mission over Syria? Yeah, go ahead and tell them what we are doing? Again? Everything Obama does is about himself and to make himself look good, no thought that giving out this info will ruin the mission and also KILL people, hello?

  4. Why does the Obama friendly media keep comparing BO’s vacays with his predecessors ?

    http://politics.suntimes.com/article/washington/obamas-vacation-days-vs-his-predecessors/fri-08222014-455pm

It’s apples and oranges. Both Bush and Reagan had permanent mini-WH’s set up in THEIR OWN homes to have working vacations. Used Camp David plenty on the weekends (are they counting those days?)

Obamas totals seem low, but I always count the fundraising trips as a vacation day. Giving a 20 minute “campaign” speech so we can pay for it does not make it a work day.

I know I’m being picky, but look at the state of our union and the world right now. Obama doesn’t work at anything.

    • It’s sort of a Red Herring. Compare the EXPENSE alone and you have your answer. We have a imperial president to believes he’s entitled to whatever lavish lifestyle his heart desires.

But the REAL issue is what a clusterfoch he’s created. Foreign and domestic policy – it’s his lack of leadership and his bonehead ideas that is the real problem.

  5. re: Syria and ISIS. Looks like Obama is going to try to have a war without really having a “war”. Reminds me of Clinton after the first World Trade center attack. Trying to just lob a few bombs here and there and ride out the rest of his term without the American people turning on him and protecting his “legacy”. We all know how well that turned out. Does this seem like Deja Vu to anyone else?

    • How well it turned out for the American people, I mean. Clinton did get off scot free – maybe that’s why Obama’s advisors are following that playbook.

      • O has just screwed everything up from trying to be the nice guy around the world and make sure everyone likes him.
My parents of course liked and loved me, however they knew when to put their foot down.
Parents are not suppose to be your best friend.
As well O doesn’t understand certain Countries, people will get the better of him (U.S.) by him turning a his head.
By the way he is now backtracking his JV remark.
He sounds like he is giving his parents a run around excuse for somthing he did wrong.

  6. NRO has a great photo shop of Dempsey with the Chesire Cat wrapped around his shoulder and giving him the advice, “If you don’t know which road to take, any road will get you there.”

    • When the media finishes the story they’ll have Barry rappelling out of a Huey, K-bar between his teeth, tossing frag’s with one hand and blazing with a Uzi in the other, you know, just like the Bin-laden raid.

  7. Why does Obama need any EO to help the VA? Haven’t there been multiple bills that the house has passed? Oh yeah, not one has been voted on by the Senate!
