  1. If the President gets cabin fever in the WH, why not spend some time at Camp David ? A pool, hiking and biking trails and other fun stuff in the fresh mountain air.

I don’t blame the SS for being stressed, they have to take a bullet for him, so to speak. Does Obama ever think about them and the dangers he puts them in every time he has one of his hankerings for a Starbucks?

  2. The Hypocrisy of Obama’s Martha Vineyard Vacation by Joseph Curl is spot on regarding this administration. One of several issues, I had with Bill Clinton’s Presidency was the fake imagery. Remember the pile of stones in the middle of Omaha Beach in Normandy that he made into a cross with a US Destroyer in the background? How many hundreds of miles and the expense of moving that destroyer for a photo OP. How embarrassing this was, but, they were trying to create an image. I can’t for the life of me figure out what type of image they are putting forward.

Obama went to Colorado to raise money for Mark Udall and Udall didn’t show up because he was busy in Washington. A Congressman could not take time out of his schedule to appear with POTUS (of the same party) who is helping raise money for his re-election ??? That equates to still going on vacation that you planned meeting with person who called and said I don’t want to be seen with you and paying for it.

Would Ronald Reagan go to Iceland for a Soviet- U.S. Summit if Gorbachev canceled stating he was too busy at the Kremlin??? What did the MSM talk about last week? Whether Gov Perry would shake Obama’s Hand???

“Reasonable” is a word this administration does not use or understand. Staying in such a house on vacation at the Taxpayers expenses is nothing but Wanton Extravagance. Denise is correct about Camp David. How many times have they been there??

Anyone know where I can bet that Moochelle will take a separate airplane once again ?? Speaking of Mooch, where does it state we get to pay for her Monthly Vacations?? The House should cut all funding for non-essential travel for the WH.

    • (…lets think about why the Obamas dont like Camp David… Its not ghetto fabulous, you never see anything like Camp David on BET… There I said it -lol)

      • A lot of celebrities and 1%ers own mountain chalets in the ski resort areas, we’ve even paid for MO to travel far west to stay in them.

I don’t think the Obamas like spending quality family time together since they never travel/vacay without their posse of hangers-on.
That’s the only reason I can think of not using Camp David as a nice respite from their “nice prison” in the WH.

    • “It’s a [vacay] that’s going to waste.. America’s time. And by the way, they’re going to pay for it using your hard-earned tax dollars,” Obama said.

Straight from the horse’s ass… er, mouth.

  3. If the first woman Pres. would be having a terrible record in postion as O.has, I hope she does not use weakness by saying/whining there are people using the female disrespect issue.
When someone makes a mistake, people respect you all the more, if you admit to the mistake and correct/better the issue.
So while we are dealing with the LONG LIST, I do not care to here about the color/religon/sex/ of someone instead of giving me the results of correcting errors of the LONG LIST.

  4. I am not positive but I think the huge amt requested and the fact that it may go to schooling the kids and spreading them around our country, instead of for interim care and a plane ticket, might have soured some legislators and govs.

    • And the miniscule token amount requested for border security.

I mentioned that my Congressman sent out a survey about this — last count 19% against approving the allocation and 80% for withholding or revising.

      • There should be no revising of the amount until the IRS and the EPA are reigned in, and the pink slips to our troops are stopped.
