  1. Surely there is a fundraiser buried in here somewhere.

I hear he’s going to a few in Texas and guess who is paying for the trip. There will be some “presidentin’ bidness’ buried in this trip also.

    • No fundraiser today. Just a man who has no clue as to what the President is supposed to do and is surrounded by people who have no clue either. I would be embarrassed if this kind of stuff showed up on my work schedule. But not Obama. This type of stuff has made up the majority of his schedule for the last five years. Day doesn’t begin until 10 am and is over by 4 pm. The high school visit will include two teleprompters. And the swearing in ceremony is just a schedule filler.

There is no one at the White House who really understands the demands placed upon a chief executive, or any executive for that matter. Our government has been divided into political fiefdoms, none of which are accountable to the American people. Instead, power has been handed out to a cadre of supporters – not based upon their ability to manage or execute – but based solely on their ideological support of classroom theory. This is Animal Farm on steroids.

      • You nailed it. And while Obama was playing golf it looks like the Russians are moving into Eastern Ukraine — just plodding along. Putin knows that the Administration shuts down when Obama tees up.

        • I read that on BBC and Fox. The Ukranian Authorities say that Pro Russian Gunman have siezed government buildings in 2 major cities in Eastern Ukraine. One of the cities is called Donestk.
He is having a briefing this morning. I would think that more time should be spent discussing major issues.

        • True, that. And just think of the lesson our young people are taking from his appearances. I would think that it is that the so-called adults in the world are total fakes and never say anything in sincerity.

    • That’s pretty tacky, the TX plans. Maybe he will have OFA tee shirts handed out at the memorial as he did in AZ after the Giffords shooting.

  2. Well, I heard earlier today that BHO and Moochelle will be attending the Fort Hood Memorial on Wednesday, and looky here, how very convenient for him that it just happens to coincide with his plans to attend a couple of fundraisers in Houston that evening (also, note that he’s going to NYC to kiss Sharpton’s arse on Friday):

Schedule for the Week of April 7, 2014

On Monday, the President will travel to Prince George’s County, MD to host an event on the economy. Following this event, he will meet with the Commander-in-Chief and Executive Director of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

On Tuesday, the President will host an event on the economy at the White House.

On Wednesday, the President and the First Lady will travel to Houston, TX. The President will attend DCCC and DSCC events. More details regarding the President and First Lady’s travel to Houston will be forthcoming.

On Thursday, the President and the First Lady will travel to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library in Austin, TX. The President will deliver remarks at a Civil Rights Summit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act. The President and the First Lady will return to Washington, DC, in the afternoon.

On Friday, the President will travel to New York, NY to deliver remarks at the National Action Network’s 16th Annual Convention.

  3. It seems that his constant speaking engagements in front of the high school to college crowd are part of a long term strategy to convert the mush brains to the progressive cause. BHO has become the sacrificial lamb of the left. They are using him and his presidency to influence the younger generation. There really is no concern on their part for global issues, security, the economy, etc. That’s the only reason I can think of for him to continually appear to this audience.
