As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

“No, no, no, Mr. President. It’s not like the Nobel Prize. You have to achieve something before you get Sainthood.”

– Pope Francis

  1. Will he try to sell him insurance?
    So embarrassing.
I think your wife is calling you home Barry. Time to swap separate vacation stories.

  2. I was up early and happened to catch some of the Vatican coverage of Obama meeting and posing with the Pope. Darn, the meeting was not televised, but Obama looked like a boy called into the Principal’s office, not too thrilled to be there….or nervous….or both. Would have loved to be a fly on the wall :)

    • He did look a little sheepisn and nervous….
Any idea who the dark-haired woman in the black mantilla sitting next to Barry at the Pope’s desk is? Mooch’s stand-in?

And what in the bleep was Kerry doing there???
And Susan Rice??? (confessing her lies about Benghazi?)

The Pope is a religious leader, not a pol. I thought these audiences were supposed to be private and personal…immediate family only.

  3. As a Catholic, I was pleased to see Obama bowto the Pope. Of course, my TV was on mute. Obama could have heard the thunder from a bolt of lightning! The problem with Sainthood it is awarded posthumously. If the Kennedy’s were not considered I don’t believe Obama has a chance.

BTW, I don’t recall a President looking weaker in 50 years….On his day of resignation, Nixon did not look this week.

    • Totally agree. The difference was that even in disgrace, Nixon did the right thing. Obama? Fat Chance. He will race to the most controversial middle on any issue.

Now I’ve missed quite a bit, but what is he doing at the Vatican anyway? Sightseeing? He can’t possibly be there because he respects Catholic values. It will be a travesty if the Pope makes any official comment on this event. Even one word will be called a “Blessing” used to woo LIV Catholics.

      • Oh… and I question his sincerity. Wouldn’t any christian man be proud the share the moment with his wife and daughters? Uh nope… they are off in China… one of the most oppressive countries in the world. Talk about a juxtaposition of values.

        • The headline news should be entirely about MOOCH skipping the audience with the Pope. I can’t think of a worse insult – to the Pope, the USA, and the world. She really is ghetto trash.

          • Yes she missed her moment to,hand deliver the gift of seeds from the WH garden and then lecture the Pope on
his diet I wouldn’t put it past her sadly. So ashamed as a
Catholic I can’t even imagine the chance for a audience
with the Pope but Michelle’s been busy pandering to the
            Communist Chinese.

  4. I heard on this mornings news that the annointed one has made more trips out of country than any other president in history. What has this so-called leader of the free world accomplished in six years? The man
( and I use the word man with tongue in cheek) has done absolutely nothing but run up the national debt. He epitomizes the old saying that it’s always easy to spend somebody elses money. He makes my posterior want to take a dip of snuff.
