  1. Keith, you do a terrific job. Do you ever ask yourself whether this poseur will ever do anything worthy of the office which he mysteriously occupies?

  2. Does he ever do anything for the other half of the country ?

In a fit of frustration with this guy, I thought in the future Presidents should be stripped of any party affiliation or involvement (fundraisers, campaigning, meeting with lobbyists, etc) and let the Vice President become the leader of the party. Can you imagine the time and money that would save the American people ?

Oh yeah, and ONE 6 YEAR TERM. Most Prezzys lucky enough to get re-elected have a sucky last two years anyhow. /rant

  3. It’s time we tip our hats to the anonymous workers at the WhiteHouse who must spend all their time dreaming up ways to keep their boss, MrObama, looking like he’s actually working there. Putting together all these different groups of people to visit the WhiteHouse, mapping out visits and deploying rescources for his eternal out of town trips, and avoiding any contact with his Cabinet.
Combining “official” visits with the many fund-raisers to avoid having the Dems actually pay for the use of AF1, or just finding a way for MrO to squeeze in some tee time after the “official” business is over is worthy of great admiration.
Congrats to the WhiteHouse anonymous staffers for a good job.

  4. First ever Film Fesival. Wonderful, if he did not have a list of scandels that he should be concerned with and getting to the bottome of.
As well if the economy was in a much better condidtion.
As well if the O Mess did not cause people to loose their jobs, insurance, and the cost did not sky rocket for others.
As well if the foreign issues were in better circumstances.
He has to many things on his plate.
All of us should test this stratigy, go to work for 5 years and screw things up, than request a lot of fun things to do on the job.

  5. Not being American, and having an incomplete understanding of your political system, I sometimes hesitate to comment on posts such as this. I just can’t understand how the President is able to so blatantly and continually fundraise and lobby for his own party, and his own agenda. Is this all the office of the President now requires? Is the President reduced to a mere money-grubbing figurehead? Presidents used to be leaders, defenders of the nation, inspiring, or at the very least, presidential!

    • You have a accurate understanding of the current political environment of our political system. To be fair, other Presidents were just as actively involved in fund raising – or nearly as involved. The internet – and Keith – shed new light on these activities.
We have serious problems with our current governance….and overt political bias is just the head of the corruption that has spread throughout the nation.

  6. I think this is the first Friday schedule in a long while that has something planned for the afternoon. Obama usually starts his weekend on Thursday.
