As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Pelosi Joins House GOP Political Team

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi Sunday made a significant contribution to Republican efforts to maintain control of the House of Representatives, vowing Democrats would “stand tall in support of the Affordable Care Act.”

Other Democrats, including the 39 who joined Republicans to pass legislation that attacked a central feature of Obamacare – standardized insurance plans – have another, more politically savvy plan: Head for the Hills.

  1. Oh dear, @Greg, you should get out more. That election was last year, 2012, and 2013 is almost over. Time flies, you know.

You might want to have your eyesight checked, too, because this piece is about CongPelosi and not those other people.

  2. Why does any news organization have her interviewed. She never makes any sense. I wonder how those interviewing her can keep a straight face. Yes, she DOES need to hang it up!

  3. Attention, Conservatives currently serving in DC: It is time to start labeling the Democrat’s Unaffordable Care Act as a War on Women, due to all the people having their insurance policies canceled. Now THAT is truly a war on women (and the rest of America, too).

PS -From watching that clip, it is obvious that botox and anesthesia during multiple surgeries cause brain damage…

    • They do use botox for migraines–so it gets into the brain. Anyhow, that silly Gillbrand woman was on this AM saying the canceled policies were all the ones that made people go bankrupt and anyhow women needed birth control and so on. I bet she has a high net worth–am not using my eye time to research it. I remember buying my own birth control–how stupid could I be? ,

  4. Nancy Pelosi – poster child for the flower power generation. Poor thing. All that sex, drugs, and rock and roll in her youth have addled her 73-year-old brain. Democrats are running alright, running as far away from Obamacare as they can…

  5. Hi, Greg!! Welcome!! (I am saying that with a smile, and no sarcasm at all. Really, I wasn’t being sarcastic in saying no sarcasm either.)

Nice to have you share your brilliant insights here. We like to have fun here. You see, that seems to be the difference between liberals and conservatives/libertarians/independants. From your own comments, you have “won” all your battles. Your candidates are getting elected. Dow is up. 401K is up. Healthcare passed.

So why are you so bitter and angry, resorting to name calling? You should be humming a tune and being happy. Most of here work hard for what we have instead of having it given to us. You should try it. Maybe you will not be so bitter.
    Have a great day!!!!

      • I would think a lawyer could come up with more brilliant thrusts, examples of Democrat fabulousness, and fewer outmoded names, but I guess I have set the bar too high. Bar–get it? As for the ad homs against Aileen–you really put the K in Klassy, have to give you that.

        • Can’t go back to sleep…unlike some vacaying lawyers, I have work to do. And this is a waste of time, but sometimes ya gotta just play. Can we get Owen back, though–he was smarter.

    • Congrats on your accomplishments! See, you do have something to be proud of. As for the rest of your comments, um, I believe they just proved my point. Plus you are repeating your same comments on the other posts. I’m getting bored now.
      Good day ma’am.

  6. This is the woman who said you must read it to know what is in it. And everyone bought into that. I see no reason why this crazy woman should be dismissed. That is exactly how dysfunctional this Administration and this Congress is. Bureaucratic lethargy roll on a long time.

  7. Why is it that some of my comments fail to appear, but Greg’s seem to appear ad infinitum on every thread?

Those comments are ignorant and boring. Therefore:

I will no longer read his posts past his unsername so they are completely useless if he is planning on influencing me a whit.

If Greg wants to continue wasting his time, its OK with me.
