On of the classics. Thanks for posting for those who might have never heard it otherwise.

You’re welcome. I’m not a fan of the vast majority of country music, but I heard this one a lot when I was a little kid and it kinda’ grew on me.

This might just turn me in to a country music fan – too funny

Sure hope Brad and Carrie have their taxes in order.

Well, if it’s Country songs – not really Obama’s thing – then maybe “I Liked You Better Before I Knew You So Well” By “Little Jackie” would be appropriate for Obama?

“I liked you better
When you didn’t know no better
You didn’t think that I was,
I was the antichrist
I liked you better
Before you got a stylist
When friendship bracelets sufficed,
But now your wrists are iced

I liked you better before you knew me
You didn’t smoke cigarettes
You didn’t drink coffee
Drank moderately, now you’re an alkie
You didn’t even curse when I was a mystery
Back then, back when you didn’t know me at all
I thought I caught a nice guy who caught my eye
You didn’t have a care, you didn’t have a clue
But seems I brought the worst out in you”

Just ONE possilbility…

Love it! We became country music fans after moving to the Texas Hill Country. In fact, last weekend the family went to Gruene Hall, the oldest dance hall in Texas, for a Jamey Johnson concert. My favorite song of his is “In Color”, where his grandpa tells the story of his life through black and white photographs. Country music is America!

I wonder how much of the audience resents the way Gibson Guitars was treated by the administration.

I also wonder how many LIV’s this performance reached. I listened to a DJ yesterday go on a short rant about Obamacare yesterday afternoon, and I wonder how many LIV’s she reached.

Having lived in Boca Raton for several years, listening to the 103.1 WIRK has become a daily ritual for me. I start my day with a cup of coffee and a side of the WIRK ‘Morning Show’. WIRK is a stay at home mom’s best source for great entertainment. Tune in today or stream online at!
