  1. The weather will be in the 80’s all week along the I-95 corridor. I am taking some pleasure in that he can’t go near a golf course until the weekend.

    • Ha, ha, Moochie actually do like, wife stuff, and manual labor to boot! GOOD ONE, Jerry!

Seriously, though, if YOU were Obama, would YOU eat something that Arm’d and Dangerous made for you? Me neither…

    • They just have to keep sending them over and publicizing the Democratic reaction. The Democrats will look like the thugs they are. Trouble is the media doesn’t cooperate. How many channels, cables and newspapers (excepting Fox) covered the story at the WWII Memorial?

      • “How many channels, cables and newspapers (excepting Fox) covered the story at the WWII Memorial?” – Julie Brueckheimer

I DID see some coverage on my local CBS affiliate, but it was about 1 minute long, and said “Because of the Congressional shut down”, obviously trying to deflect from the President.

Can’t really expect any less from the Letterman network though, especially since Nick Clooney is still involved in my local, and we all know what a wonderful man his son turned out to be…

      • The fact that someone had to GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to barricade what is essentially a public outdoor space infuriates me! The sequester scare tactics didn’t work so they are really going out of their way to “prove” the federal government is essential to our daily life.

  2. Monday night, Pat Buchanan resuggested that the Republicans should pass each section of the budget instead of the entire budget. Pass the defense budget the send it to the Senate, pass the Veterans Benefits, pass the DC budget, etc. Then the Senate Dems and the President can be on record voting against each part of the budget. Of course, Obamacare would not be voted upon. It was a smart idea. The WH has said it will Veto every bill sent that way. It will put every Democrat on record in both houses on the record for next years elections. Buchanan continues to be right! They got rid of him at PMSNBC because it was 6 liberals vs Buchanan it was not a fair fight because he keep beating them intellectually!

  3. 12:05 pm || Meets with members of the Financial Services Forum

Here is a list of the members of the Financial Services Forum:

    http://www.financialservicesforum.org/index.php/about-the-forum/forum-members

I’d love to have the time to run each one through:
    Open Secrets (http://www.opensecrets.org/) or,
    Campaign Money (http://www.campaignmoney.com/) or
    Discover the Networks(http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/).

I miss the days when Little Green Footballs was relevant.

    • Wow. That’s a Who’s Who of the Too Big to Fail and the evil 1%ers. Does anyone besides us know he’s meeting with them? I’d love to have some of the old OWS people protest this.

  4. I like it that Obama’s keeping his schedule open. You know, just in case John calls. It sucks having to sit by the phone like this, wondering what you could have said that’s wrong!

  5. Apropos of nothing, I was just wondering; after (at least) two days of Obama shut down, wouldn’t this mean that we EASILY saved enough money on Federal salaries to resume White House tours once this is settled?

    Just sayin’…

    • shutdowns are just theater. I’m sure everyone (even the 93% of non-essential EPA employees) will get their backpay once it fires up again.
