  1. “Obama weighs limited Syria strike . . . Washington Post”
Watch. Obama will choose a politically opportune – for himself – time, and come in on the Sunni side. He was raised Sunni and trained Sunni, and under Islamic law, he still is. Like the scorpion and the frog, he can’t change his nature…

“Kerry: Chemical attack “undeniable” . . . New York Times”
Welcome to the club, Mr. Heinz. A little late. And you guys are SO good at denying OTHER “undeniable” things, what’s one more? You’ve pretty much wrecked it whatever way we turn by waiting so long, and we’ve got no international cred now anyway, so it’s almost pointless. Of course, that was your boss’s plan all along, wasn’t it?

“Skepticism on Capital Hill about intervention . . . Politico”

But will they STOP him, even if he unconstitutionally goes to war? AGAIN? Still waitin’ for that Libyan war declaration…

“White House seeks to build support in Congress . . . The Hill ”
You’ve got the Senate, your handmaiden McCain, and The West Chester Weeper himself, Sucker – i mean Speaker – Boehner. What else do you need?

“Syria first big test for Obama’s new team . . . Politico”

I guess, if we’re not counting his worldwide apology tour, surrenders in Afganistan and Iraq, enabling dictators everwhere, supplying the Muslim Brotherhood with aid and confort, and ignoring coordinated attacks on American sovereign territory and the murder of America’s Ambassadors…

Feh. He’s been tested many times, and found wanting ALL of them. Unless he’s working FOR Islamist – in which case, “Mission Accomplished”!

“Obama limits detention of undocumented parents . . . Fox News”

Why not? With such shaky documents of his own, Malia and Sasha’s “Dad” would probably be detained in a just world…

“Debt limit showdown set for mid-October . . . Washington Post”

George Bush’s fault. Republicans Racist. McConnell and Boehner cave after McCain insults actual conservatives. No story here…

“Retiring doctors cause Obamacare conundrum . . . Fox News”

Just force them to work. Isn’t that what dicators do? None of your trappy socialist stuff will EVER work without force and even then – as the WHOLE REST OF THE WORLD can attest – it won’t work then, either…

“Why won’t Obama visited North Dakota? . . . National Journal”

Too White. Too sucessful. No votes in the House. Fracking thing embarrasing. No mosques. No high dollar restaurants or five star hotels on the beach. No beach. Bad golf courses. They look at you funny there when you order dog. Take your pick…

“Obama clown gets death threats . . . Politico”

Get Holder on the job. Let’s see some civil rights charges against the people threatening him. Oh, wait, it’s the CLOWN being charged? That’s right, I forgot, the First Amendment doesn’t apply to White people any more…

Anyway, “Obama clown” would seem to be a good title for Prezzy Revenge, not for a guy who put a mask on one time. You would think someone with obvious Clown heritage like Obama would show some empathy…

    • “But will they STOP him, even if he unconstitutionally goes to war? AGAIN? Still waitin’ for that Libyan war declaration…”

Did Bush get a declaration of war from Congress to invade Iraq and Afghanistan? Lobbing missiles into Syria is far-less serious than ground invasions.

      • Iraq;

        http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c107:H.J.RES.64:

Ms. Manners? I’m a little surprised that YOU’D turn it on Bush. Even if he did NOT go to Congress (and he did), this isn’t ABOUT Bush, he’s not President at the moment. But, to answer your question, he did indeed go to Congress. And the UN. And possibly to the Pope, I don’t know, but Bush was a coalition builder in every sense, and did not launch illegal wars as the current President does.

Unless this is a “devil’s advocate” kind of thing…

          • I hope he’s not hoping to get the stockpiles of chemical weapons ’cause they’re long gone by now. But, he has access to intelligence from our people who’ve been on the ground for ages.

        • “West Chester Weeper–love it.” – Julie Bruekheimer

I live downhill from Crying Johnny, between him and The People’s Republic of Cincinnati, so I always know when he’s verklampt by the local flash flood warnings. Unfortunately, I don’t live in his district so he doesn’t have to even PRETEND to care, but it doesn’t mean I can’t smell the stench of surrender every time it wafts down from the Northern border of my little land, and know that woe has once again befallen our bleeding nation due to someone’s personal job preservation concerns…

I do know some folks that occupy his fiefdom. Most are decent, hardworking people who – in some cases – have done very well for themselves, and fled to his district to escape the crime and Section 8 housing that plauges counties to his South. Unfortuantely, to them, he has done well enough at warding off the excesses of the Federal cancer from their immediate vicinity, as well as bringing home some nice crunchy bacon, so I’ve never really seen a serious primary challenge there. He also does have some mid-sized semi-urban areas in his district, so it is unlikely an actual conservative would get past them. All in all, I don’t see him going anywhere. More’s the pity…

And thanks to everyone that enjoyed my humble – and long! – opinions. It just wasn’t the same without our ringmaster, and I’m afraid I traded on the opportunity to unleash a torrent of pent-up dossier thoughts. Thanks again also, Mr. Koffler, for coming back to your cat-herding job. I did TRY to use the litter box while you were gone…

  2. “Kerry: Chemical attack “undeniable” . . . New York Times”

Thanks again for getting up to speed on something. Now, will you also admit that Benghazi’s being a terrorist attack is “undeniable”, as well as “Major” Nidal Hasan’s act of terrorism being “undeniable” and award those folks their justly deserved Purple Hearts and back pay?

    Yeah, I didn’t think so…

Please keep us posted on further revelations from the Kerry State Department. though. We’re expecting an announcement that Stalin was bad any day now, and maybe that you “frown” upon some of the stuff that Hitler guy did…

  3. Obama Weighs Limited Syria Strike

Let’s just call a spade a spade: “Obama Face-Saving Strike”
As is the case with Iran, Syria’s chemical stockpiles are buried deep in the ground and cannot be destroyed without Special Ops and boots on the ground. Obama has stated emphatically that he has no intention of taking down the Assad regime in spite of the fact that Assad has called his bluff.
Obama has no credibility in the ME (or anywhere else, for that matter). A few Cruise missile strikes are not going to restore his reputation – it just means more civilians will die in a face-saving effort by the feckless (non) Leader of the Free World.

  4. Obama might bomb in Syria? Why did he open his stupid mouth about red lines? Let them kill each other over there, we should not get involved, BOTH SIDES ARE OUR ENEMY. This would cause us more trouble if he bombs there. Its ridiculous, mind your own business Obama, both the rebels and the government would kill us all if they could. Why help them?
