As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

White House Dossier Ranked 7th by Technorati

White House Dossier Wednesday was ranked seventh on the Technorati list of most influential U.S. political blogs, trailing only a handful of major players like The Huffington Post, the CNN Political Ticker, and the Daily Kos.

Have look-see!

Nice, right?

Technorati ranks blogs by what it calls “authority,” a measure of influence calculated by links from other blogs; the way the blog is being categorized by others; and “other associated data” to figure out a a site’s “standing & influence in the blogosphere.”

So we were seventh – yes, I’m including you, my readers, who make this possible – among the 8,335 U.S. political blogs Technorati ranks.

Here were the top ten Wednesday:

1. Mediaite
2. CNN Political Ticker
3. The Huffington Post
4. The Blaze
5. Daily Kos
6. Heritage’s The Foundry
7. White House Dossier
8. Foreign Policy’s The Cable
9. ZeroHedge
10. Right Wing Watch

Okay, today we’re eighth, even though we gained more “authority.” But who’s counting today?

White House Dossier was also 70th on the Technorati Top 100 Overall list, out of a grand total of 1,331,691 blogs measured.

I would note that Technorati does not measure page views or unique visitors. Other U.S. political blogs not in Technorati’s top ten have more of those than White House Dossier. But right now, they don’t have more influence.

Thanks to all of you for your readership and support. You are making this blog the success that it is.

  1. Congratulations, but there’s no way you should be ranked behind the Huffington Post, CNN or the Daily Kos. You shouldn’t be behind the Blaze either as Glen Beck gets a little too tabloidy (a word I invented) at times. For my taste at least. It must be just a matter of hits because on content you have it all over them.

Also I like how you keep it civil here. That’s very important to me.

  2. Kudos, Keith

Shall we expect a White House proclamation soon? (You can tell them you were a fan of Larry Czonka.)

Unlike Czonka, you — Keith — didn’t need to be retrained to lead with your shoulder instead of your head. You do just fine leading with your head — and your heart.

How about a petition for a WH visit for the Memphis Southmen (for which Czonka briefly played)? Obama loves him some Memphis.

  3. Congratulations! My guess if blogs were ranked for quality of content, insight, and the “real story” behind the headlines, your blog would be #1. The others, for the most part, seem to have little original thinking and don’t address complex issues very effectively.

Nice job. We’re proud of ya.

  4. Major HAH!
I do think your generosity with commenters (sometimes a cranky lot) makes a difference. I’m not meaning to take credit here for your considerable talents/moxie – oh WTF, maybe I will.
Drones over your house/office/basement computer yet?
It’s an achievement you absolutely deserve. We are so proud of you. And proud to have backed a winner.

  5. Actually Keith, you have made this blog the success that it is.

Your faithful readers are proud to have played supporting roles. Congratulations!

  6. Right on, right on, right on.
Keith Koffler 2020, a man with vision..
Congrats to one of the hardest workers for the truth..

  7. as I have said before, Keith, whitehousedossier is my one must-read of the day, every day. I am proud to have been with you all these years. keep up the great work!

  8. fine work my man…..pace yourself, there’s a lot coming down the pike in the next year or so and we need your mind working at top speed….git er done!

  9. Congratulations Keith,

I’ll be 63 on Saturday so it should come as no surprise that I am not exactly sure what a “BLOG” is. But that doesn’t prevent me from knowing that this website is something special. You even go out of your way to point out when Obama does something OK or better. (Jumping Jehosaphat, that must be hard (make that difficult, my wife says do NOT say hard unless I really mean it) to find sometimes!!!

    • Congratulations Keith. You create and communicate like few others. Your faithful readers and contributors also should be commended. It is a group effort and the group makes the reading a great learning experience. This is the best political meet-up in the world. Keep it up Keith for all of our frustrated selves who really care about America.

  10. Congratulations Keith. Well done and well deserved.

And kudos to the readers/commenters. You guys are great.

How does this affect our group ranking on the Re-Education list?

  11. sometimes good quality actually DOES get recognized.
Been a follower for a long time, and am glad to see you get some recognition.
It will probably only keep growing.
Look out Matt Drudge! (heh heh)

  12. Was so glad the day I “stumbled” upon WHD. An excellent site filled with thought provoking and factual data. You have done a marvelous job in your reporting.

Those that read and comment here are now like family. We share the same basic philosophy, and stand ready to defend this great land (from all threats). I click on the link to WHD at the same time I reach for my cup of coffee in the morning. A great combination; energy and truth.

One thing though, I doubt you’ll be called on anytime soon to ask questions (by either the barker or the whiner).

  13. Congratulations on a job WELL done!!!!!!!!

Thanks for all the hard work and dedication to sharing the truth and doing everything possible to hold this hoodlum of an administration accountable…….

      • PS I know I am a PITA with my crabby little notes on profanity and grossness, but I do think those, even acronymized, detract from credibility–and they get so old.

          • Actually no. You always have something interesting to say, sans crass language. I prefer not to name pseudonyms… The people who do it do it deliberately…Often their comments are just crude mumblings, no new info. I use “bad” expressions in real life–verbally–on occasion. But when they are all around me in written form, it makes me think I am wasting my time at a site. If I went to a cocktail party and everyone was spitting out f-bombs and crude insults, I would think it was pretty low-rent, too.

  14. Thank you all so much for these comments. It’s especially flattering coming from all of you because I know you are direct and honest in your opinions, whether you agree with me or not. I learn from all of you and, no kidding, many people express to me how much they enjoy the comments. So thanks for your help with this. I really do have the best readers anywhere.
