Attkisson: Snoopers Didn’t Care About my Finances

CBS reporter Sharyl Attkisson says whoever invaded her work and home computers had access to her financial information but didn’t touch anything, an indication the hackers were more likely concerned with her reporting on Benghazi and the Fast and Furious gun running operation.

Attkisson spoke to Philadelphia talk radio show host Dom Giordano. Here’s an excerpt:

Whoever was in my work computer, the only thing I was working on were work-related things with CBS were big stories I guess during the time period in questions were I guess Benghazi and ‘Fast and Furious.’ The intruders did have access to personal information including passwords to my financial accounts and so on, but didn’t tamper with those, so they weren’t interested in stealing my identity or doing things to my finances. So people can decide on their own what they might have been trying to do in there.

  1. “The intruders did have access to personal information including passwords to my financial accounts and so on, but didn’t tamper with those, so they weren’t interested in stealing my identity or doing things to my finances.” – Sharyl Attkisson

Of COURSE not! There’s no need. The IRS and NSA ALREDY has that info, and will be draining your accounts presently for your treasonable and automatically racist utterances against Our Dear Leader and the State, which are one and the same…

  2. Sharyl, honey, just say what you mean. You don’t have to pussy-foot around with sly comments. You have the constitution and most Americans on your side, so don’t be afraid.
You KNOW who did the snooping, say it out loud and force them to deny it or admit it.

    • While we are telling her to woman up, they are probably zeroing in on us for our daily lack of respect. I guess we are sort of going along with the “well, the damage is probably done” idea, right? I guess I am. We are just grist for the mill–I don’t know how to get the bitheads out of our business, does anyone?

    • It’s like being pecked to death by a duck, like Gov. Palin was with all her nuisance lawsuits that drove her out of office. It’s about intimidating and bankrupting your critics. With hopes Ms. Attkisson will be as brave (and armed with CBS’ legal department to at least pay her fees). And James Rosen should have Fox’s legal behind him too.

      • So you are saying the only way to get the “now dear” Dick Cheneys and Gen Alexander Knows Bests out of our beeswax is to go back to cave days? You may be right–I heard about six interlocking programs NAMED yesterday on the shows and in the Wash Post–even if they wanted to, I don’t think they can unwind this. And who actually can go back to the cave days? The terrorists. Irony, I love you so.

    • I have one of those portables somewhere, under a pile of boxes. No typewriter tape, though. hmm

One of the drawbacks would be that unless I just want to write my opinions for posterity, I would have to resort to the USPS and then I’m right back under government scrutiny.
How about we go back to where our speech was protected and private, or as they say….cannot be used against you in a court of law.

      • I just want cracks to crawl into. I am tempted to say oh, they have so much info it will cancel itself out or fall of its own weight–but I am detecting between the lines, wayyyy improved ways of scanning and dot connecting and I don’t think the massive amts bother them at all. But it irks me when they say hey we had 100 million and only looked at 300, so go back to sleep. So patronizing, not to mention unbelievable. You guys say CBS and Fox will pay for Sharyl and James–who will pay for one of us when we get crossed with someone plotting against the country or our ID gets stolen by a ne’er do well or something?

      • USPS: I read that all letters are photocopied front and back, which leaves “Pigeon Carrier Service” still available, except for those nasty windmills that suck up passing birds.

  3. Under Obama’s “fair share” doctrine, maybe he’s starting his own “War on Women” to compensate for the relentless GOP bashing being done by Emily’s List. They send out almost daily emails convicting GOP men for their “anti-woman” statements. Today they attacked, among others, Scott Walker and Chris Christie.

And of course the “hold them accountable” link goes directly to a DONATION page, cuz fightin’ dem coo coo cons is costly, donchaknow…
