As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Alert! Fresh Obama Administration Scandal!

Yes, there’s another brand new scandal! It’s just been delivered, we’re still cleaning off the vernix. Listen . . . in a moment you should be able to hear it start to cry. Oh, let’s put it in the nursery with all the other adorable scandals.

No, not the telephone and Internet data scandal, gosh, that’s so yesterday.

The latest scandal comes to us courtesy of CBS News which, I gotta say, after years of being associated with the liberalism of Dan Rather, is plowing away with some serious nonpartisan investigative journalism and holding this administration accountable.

It seems the Diplomatic Security Service, which protects State Department officials overseas – including the Secretary – has been engaging in all kinds of hanky-panky while on assignment. And so of course an internal investigation was launched.

Except, except . . .

CBS News’ John Miller reports that according to an internal State Department Inspector General’s memo, several recent investigations were influenced, manipulated, or simply called off. The memo obtained by CBS News cited eight specific examples. Among them: allegations that a State Department security official in Beirut “engaged in sexual assaults” on foreign nationals hired as embassy guards and the charge and that members of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s security detail “engaged prostitutes while on official trips in foreign countries” — a problem the report says was “endemic.”

The memo also reveals details about an “underground drug ring” was operating near the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad and supplied State Department security contractors with drugs.

Aurelia Fedenisn, a former investigator with the State Department’s internal watchdog agency, the Inspector General, told Miller, “We also uncovered several allegations of criminal wrongdoing in cases, some of which never became cases.”

. . . Fedenisn, a DSS agent for 26 years, was a part of the team that prepared the draft report and is now a whistleblower who has taken her concerns to Congress.

Two hours after CBS News made inquiries to the State Department about these charges, investigators from the State Department’s Inspector General showed up at her door.

Amazing though, isn’t it, that all these scandals emerge just months after Obama is safely reelected? Where was the hunger for news before November?

Anyway, here’s Johnny . . . Miller.

  1. This is a symptom of just how well-documented all of our lives have become. In the Old Days, whatever the Detail did on a deployment stayed on deployment – period. And that goes for all the IC types too. If it was overseas, it stayed there unless a Foreign Intel Service or colleague could use it against you.
Nope. Thai prostitutes in the steamy bars seem to find their way to Youtube now.
Butch and Sundance…those days are over!

  2. Accounts and reports of men hiring prostitutes can be found in the heiroglyphics drawn on King Tut’s tomb in Egypt.
We can say with some certainty that the human male has not evolved since the time of the ancient Egyptians.

So, some lonely, horny security guys hired some evening companions while they were far from home and, yawn, so what?

  3. IF I’m the Republicans, I’d use this to say:

You need to vote for us in 2014. These are the reasons why you need a branch of government different than the President’s.
A Democratic House and Senate would ignore all these things.

  4. When my daughter was little, she used to pin me down, “If you HAD to pick!” Hands down we nail Madame Secretary on Benghazi, not Prosty-gate.

    • I must be getting punchy with all the scandals because I hadn’t connected MrsC with this report of men being men.
Somebody’s poll claimed that her ‘approval’ rating is taking a dive because of these scandals that are swirling around the WhiteHouse.
Just wondering, how much longer until the Clinton camp throws MrObama under his own bus?

      • It happened under her watch sort of thing, but you’re right: I can’t wait for the fight to begin. There will be no way she can support his regime by 2016. She has to distance herself, but how? And how to keep the black vote if she gets nasty.

  5. Gosh are we all soooooo lucky as to have had the smartest lesbian pantload in the history of our country as Secretary of Disgrace, excuse me I mean State! Look at her list of accomplishments she achieved during her tenure:

Beghazi – Four Americans Murderd, No security, Looking into the eyes of the grieving parents and lying over the vicims coffins. Covering up her crime of murder and lying to Congress.
Prostitution running rampant in her Department
    Drug Dealing
Having as her advisor and lesbo lover a scrawny, shark mouthed member of the radical muslim brotherhood that is dedicated to the destruction of the country.
Destroying all of America’s allies in the Middle East and turning over these countries to the radical muslims.

The list goes on and on.

We are soooo fortunate as a country to have had her as Secretary of Disgrace. Hopefully, one day we will be lucky to have her as president.

  6. Keith: “Amazing though, isn’t it, that all these scandals emerge just months after Obama is safely reelected? Where was the hunger for news before November?”

    Sensa diet?

  7. I think it’s time for Obama to have a ‘Checkers’ speech. Let me help his young and naive speech writers out with an opening line…

    I am not a crook.

There you go guys go for it.

  8. Despite it all, it’d be more fun to force his resignation than to simply beat him in the election. Humiliation is too good for him.

  9. MSM news not providing much coverage of IRS. Old habits really hard to break. Perhaps like everything else this scandal dump is less about scandals than about what’s going on backstage.

It’s not like Barack and the gang actually see these as scandals or abuse of power or over reach of big government.

  10. All, and I mean ALL, of the “scandals” against this Administration have not landed anywhere near Obama and hardly touched his senior staff. Compare this to other Presidents–Bush, Reagan, Clinton–and there is very little “there, there.” These “fresh” scandals look like more of the same. No matter how much the GOP tries or how much hyperbole is used, this Administration is just not corrupt as you hope.
