As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

James Rosen Appears on Bill O’Reilly’s Show

Looks like he ain’t saying much.

As you may be aware, Rosen has had his phones and emails culled by DOJ as part of a investigation into a State Department source who allegedly leaked him classified information. Rosen himself may be targeted, since he was named as a potential “co-conspirator.”

Rosen is clearly very worried that these people – as in, the ones at the “Justice” Department – are wrecking his career. I mean, would you talk to James Rosen on background at this point?

I pity James. I’ve known him for many years – he covered the White House for a long time. He’s smart, totally unpretentious for a TV guy, and a real reporter who digs for stuff.

It’s ironic that he would be caught up in this, because he has a personal interest in the Nixon Watergate saga. He published a book in 2008, “The Strong Man: John Mitchell and the Secrets of Watergate.

I wish him well and hope sincerely that he is able to continue the great reporting he’s always done.

H/T to Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit.

  1. I have been so caught up in the criminality of it all that I hadn’t stop to think of what it is doing to Rosen’s career. You are right, Keith, they have made him damaged goods even if he is, as we expect, vindicated. It fits with the IRS scandal too because we don’t know of all the people who have been financially ruined by the IRS whether or not they win their cases. I can’t remember his name, but one of the big Romney donors was vindicated against the IRS but had to spend $80,000 in legal fees to do it and he will never see that money again. He’s a multimillionaire, but think of all those who are not wealthy being saddled with the same legal burdens to prove their innocence.

  2. I saw that. James Rosen is one of the good guys. This infuriates me. A good man, a decent man. Hounded by junkyard dogs.

The contrast between James and any member of the Obama lapdog media is stark.

And when you compare this with the leaks and trumpet blaring of the Osama kill it’s stomach turning. And don’t even get me started on the
    damage done to the Seals.

  3. Like the Roman conquerers who crucified the first few Turkish villagers to silence the masses, James Rosen was ‘crucified’ by the regime as a warning to other reporters Follow the state’s mandates or you too will be singled out for persecution.

I hope James Rosen’s parents sue the pants off the federal government. I’d much rather see them get a piece of the regime’s taxpayer funded slush fund rather than some Obama campaign bundler’s green energy scam.
