As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

The Virtual State of the Union

Wait a second, that’s not Obama!

Whittle is a great and persuasive speaker. I think he said something once about people telling him he should run for president, but he acknowledges he lacks the proper temperament.

Of course, that hasn’t stopped plenty people who run, and some who win.

  1. This is exactly how I feel. I’ve met the man and he is likable. Do I think he’s going to win? Yes I do and that means we all lose.

He’s going to win because he has a war chest that would choke a small African country and the district he is running in is overwhelmingly democrat.

Why do I say we lose when he wins? Simple, every ad, every interview, pretty much every sound bite has essentially been spend, spend, spend, and then spend a little more. The only peep he has made about how to pay for his multi-trillion dollar spending spree has been the now thoroughly debunked (and very tired) line about asking the “rich” to pay a little more.

You don’t have to be a mathematical genius to understand the numbers don’t work. Frankly, you’d have to be completely ignorant of basic math to believe we can raise enough revenue just from the rich to even come close to paying for our current level of spending.
Remember when I said I met him? I did and he did not seem to be mentally challenged so I am assuming he genuinely wants to spend the country even farther into oblivion.

The day is coming when the interest payments on the national debt will exceed the entire defense budget. If you think that day is far into the future, you are wrong. It will happen within a decade unless our country gets spending under control. We simply cannot afford this pumpadore’s brand of thinking.

  2. I always enjoy watching Whittle. It’s unfortunate that this cannot be made mandatory viewing to Congress, especially Manchin and Toomey who are now carrying the torch.

Thanks for this although it makes the reality all so much more disheartening.

However, I am encouraged by the fact that both the Kinglet and the Queenlet have praised Jason Collins for his “courage” in publicly proclaiming that he is gay. As always, priorities.

    • Today, I received a canned response from Toomey to all the emails I sent him. It was filled with half truths and his complete misunderstanding of the Second Amendment. He was elected with the financial support of people like me. I will fight to ensure his one term status come 2016.

  3. He always makes more sense in 1 minute than any of these others have made in years now. The audience almost looks scared! Love it…
