“President looking to avoid confrontation”
Duh.
Was it a French General who asked to be told which direction the mob was heading, so he could get in front?
No, that won’t work either. Our fearsome leader still doesn’t want to get in front. What is it with this guy? Fear of disapproval? A refusal to be allied with anything negative? Or, and sorry to say, the most likely, cowardice?

Re: Obamacare exemption

Wow the Dems backed away from this as soon as these secret talks became public. Pelosi still amazes me “The bill has been written. It is subject to interpretation….” DUH If it was written CLEARLY and efficiently, Miss Nancy, maybe it would not be the coming train wreck anyone with a brain can see. Ooops, that would disqualify you. My bad.

I guess she didn’t read the bill before commenting ;-)

“Dems back away from Obamacare exemption…”

The only reason they backed away is because they got caught in the act. Still hard to believe Politico was the source of this story. Although they busted the House leadership too, so that may have been their motivation. At first Bawling Boehner’s spokesperson gave a weaselly statement implying little Johnny wants to give as many people as possible an exemption from Obamacare. Nothing more than a cabal of crooks in Congress, with a few exceptions.

…and all of them apparently making money hand over fist…spending ours, making theirs.

McConnell used this to comment that we should all be exempt from Obamacare and it should be repealed. Nice words. The perfect opportunity to seize the reins and do it. Will never happen. Not with this crew.

McConnell is saying and doing the right things, maybe because he’s up for re-election in 2014. Unfortunately, he’s not much of a leader. The turncoats in his caucus keep voting to strip away our individual freedoms rather than honoring their oath to protect them.
