  1. From the Gun Control story:
“Bribery isn’t what it once was,” said an official with one of the major gun-control groups. “The government has no money. Once upon a time you would throw somebody a post office or a research facility in times like this. Frankly, there’s not a lot of leverage.”

Wow. This is disgusting. Conforms my worst fears about our political system.

    • I don’t believe for a minute “Obama was shaken to the core over Sandy Hook”. It was the perfect crisis for him to push his agenda on gun control. He stood on those kids’ caskets and used their grieving families to punish law abiding citizens.

What’s sad is that his anger over the loss in the Senate was far more emotional than the loss of those lives. Makes me wonder what kind of control that gun control lobby has over him?

      • I have to agree Denise. He went from 110% full on angry at the gun control vote loss to a nice 2 hour sit down dinner with democrats who said the meeting and meal was excellent. I guess he only pouts for the media. His gun control lecture was interesting, and to me his actions have alienated more voters. Today’s visit to Boston is going to be interesting. He of course will be giving another speach. Will we get something more emotional or another angry lecture trying to spin foreign / domestic terrorism with gun control.

  2. The Second Amendment dodged another bullet! The families of Sandy Hook and Tucson are being victimized for the second time by the Marxist-in-Chief whose sole purpose is to disarm every American, step by step beginning with inocuous sounding background checks. Sorry, Barry, after Obamacare you have lost all credibility. No one trusts you!

  3. The media over here and in the UK badmouthed Thatcher after her death and wrote of large mass protests in the making for her funeral. The welfare state crowd over there drove “Ding Dong the Witch Is Dead” up to number two on the music chart. Obama either was afraid to be seen honoring a conservative in a political sense or he was literally afraid to attend. As it turned out, there were a few backs turned on her and a few boos as she went through the streets, but they were overwhelmed by people crying, people applauding, and people throwing white roses as her casket passed by.

Obama has once again shown himself for the coward he is while we remember Margaret Thatcher as a woman of great courage and conviction.

  4. “A Senate in the God Lobby’s Grip” by Gabrielle Giffords, NYT. I don’t believe Ms. Giffords could have written that op-ed. More likely, her husband Mark Kellly.
